I'm seeing a tiny little Star Wars debacle so I wanted to chime in and say that I love both trilogies, key word being trilogies. But I respect Peter Jackson FAR more as a director than I do George Lucas., and that's what makes LOTR better in my opinion.

Actually, scratch that; the track wasn't reused, but the scoring was. The music accompanying the charge of the Rohirrim is much, much grander than this, but it's the same melody and everything.

This is such a beautiful and powerful scene... I saw this in theaters 2 weeks ago and was blown away by how much the music affected this sequence, and ever since I first watched it, the music with the scene has been pure magic. Howard Shore is a frickin genius.
