The Bible describes that the shepherds heard Angels sing, and no less than two wise men discovered the star. It never tells that the shepherds discovered the star, nor the number of the star discoverer was three. そもそも聖書によれば、羊飼いが星を見たとも、東方の博士の数が­３人だったとも書いてない。

This is the reasons that I dislike this song albeit the absolutely beautiful melody. 以上、全世界の視聴者むけに、あえて英語で書いたけど、そういう­わけでこの曲は（日本語・英語とも）どうも好きになれないんだよ­ね。メロディはきれいなんだけど、もったいない・・・

If Noel means the Christmas in French, why we can't sing "the first CHRISTMAS where the angels did say"? Both are two syllabled words. Let's use simple English, not French! Moreover, NOERU is three syllabled word in Japanese, and the fact makes the song difficult to sing. YOROKOBI TATAEYO (Let's rejoyce and praise) by the old translation is far better. ノエルなんて言葉を使う必要があるのかしら？ 「喜びたたえよ」でいいじゃない！
