  • WTF????????? o.e

  • Where's the one were mimsie says oooooo?

  • WTF????? o.e

  • they should use this in looney tunes!

  • That was great to see Mary Tyler Moore end it! It is too bad that once her enterprise was bought out, MTM Music Group in Nashville was shut down.

  • With this special MTM variation, this scene on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" was aired on CBS primetime Saturday, February 24, 1973 under the episode title "Put On A Happy Face".

  • What...The???

  • of course her hand is going the other way, but its still epic!

  • I wish they could've used that on the series finale too.

  • That was a great comedy! I do not know exactly how long ago I heard it for the first time before I just seen it today!

  • This was very funny! The founder of MTM Enterprise, Mary Tyler Moore.

  • I saw this episode last night, poor Mary!

  • MGM, whose logo was parodied by MTM, for a few years owned the pre-8/48 WB color cartoons (and the Harman-Ising Merrie Melodies starting with the second). MGM got the cartoons when they bought United Artists, which in turn got them after buying Associated Artists Productions.

The cartoons were then bought by Turner, and the rest is history.

  • Yo that's the SAME tv logo they had on a episode of Family Guy (The episode when Quegmire got his new pet cat)

  • I once read that "That's all Folks" is actually written on the gravestone of Porky Pig's voice actor Mel Blanc . Now hearing it sort of creeps me out. :)

  • Jim, thanks for putting these up! Also, I love Hawkwind, man!

  • I think this SHOULD have been used on the final episode, instead of ep. 71

  • That's funny! What a nice parody!

  • Yt is, go to themeparkvision with help of the fourcolored searchmachine...

  • i loved that episode. when she had to write all the obituaries over again.

  • And she said "I'm so sick of writing obituaries, I've felt like ending the last five with 'ibbe-de-ibbe-de, that's all folks'." LOL, hence the quote.

  • and everything bad kept happening to her that week. she got sick, lou was mad at her. it was one of my favorites. that and the one when her and lou tried to date.

  • Yes, I loved that one too, especially when Lou tried to kiss her, and they both started laughing when they realized how absurd the idea of their actually dating really was.

  • How many episodes of Mary Tyler Moore's show were made? Was this one of the last episodes?

  • The very last.

  • I guess she gave Mimsie the day off....LOL

  • No, it wasn't. This show had 168 episodes. This was from Episode 71 (Put On a Happy Face).

  • My mistake.

  • The last episode had the cat saying "Bye" in Mary's voice.

  • My favourite version was "the White Shadow" where the kitty came out and bounced a basketball.

  • really. i like when someone said "where's the cat". but mimise instead of meowing, she just quack.

  • Mary said this,on the episode corresponding with this logo.I think it's funny.

  • Th-th-th-th-th-Piss off, Lou!

  • Mary Tyler Moore did an awesome Porky Pig impersonation!

  • Yeah, awesome

  • Oh I like this

  • I realy thought that was used on the series finale

  • I see why. It's like how Mimsey lay dead on the last episode of St. Elsewhere, and had the voice over from the Darryls shouting, "QUIET!" on the last episode of Newhart.

  • Anyone got the MTM from early in the MTM Show run, where Mimsie supposedly has a different meow?

  • Based on what I read, it's on the second episode of the first season. This is where Mimsey has a higher-pitched meow.

  • Anyone got it for posting?

  • Someone on the CLG posted it on the group, it's weird. I got all four TMTMS DVDs, will have to double check if this one here is on it along with the 2nd ep. one (which is obviously there)

  • I remember that episode. Mimsie sounded more like a kitten.

  • @JimHawkwind03411 yeah. It was on the first season episode called "Today I am a Ma'am". Its on the DVD.

  • FUNNY! XD
