  • Love it! Old new wave mod revivalists never die! ROCK ON!!

  • Great stuff!

Bruce's ric bass is brill & Ricks drumming is still great! Keep at it fellas & hit the road!!

  • Love the clarity of the lyrics in this. It not Weller but this is certainly acceptable.

  • No disrespect to the lead singer of From The Jam, but he isnt Weller, and he certainly doesnt have Wellers voice and Im sure he would tell you this. Lets not forget Weller is only person who made up the Jam. Rick and Bruce each provided something in thier own rights and still do that when they play for thier new band. Its no reason to dis the Weller or From the Jam. Take the positives from this, we can hear Wellers new stuff and we can still hear The Jams old stuff. Best of both worlds.

  • @mtraner2004 "No disrespect to the lead singer of From The Jam, but he isnt Weller" not the sharpest tool in the box are you mate.

  • its not the same without weller and it never will be to be honest.

  • its not the same without weller and it never will be to be honest.

  • I loved The Jam, I detested The Style Council as Paul Weller visually looked like a fish out of water. His solo stuff however is great and good for him. A full reunited The Jam? Personally it's best left for the archives and to look back with fondness. Weller has moved on, a bit like Sting. I think a temp reunion for nostalgia would have been a nice touch though

  • All the best to Rick, Bruce, and Paul. I was 14 in 78 when I first got into The Jam, and loved most of their music, then liked a lot of The Style Council, and loved most of Paul Weller's solo stuff. Paul has the talent as a writer, singer, and is multi-talented as a musician (not that this is any big deal, but Paul showed Bruce some bass lines when Bruce was starting off as a bass-player). FTJ (before Bruce was re-united with Paul, and Rick left FTJ) were like a zombie - a body with no brain.

  • there is no need for a inpact/ power/ or a movement anymore from the jam

but the fans YES the fans are still here and love the music more than the movement

the music is what people want to hear

weller is done with all that stuff and has not much more to offer as a solo artist

and his sole tours have about 7/8 songs from the past in each gigs anyway

a setup a tour just for the fans that they left behind back the the 80s

we are still here and ready for them

  • what is this? :) 2007?

  • Paul Weller will never reform The Jam, and to be honest I don't want him to. It's not the same. The Jam should be left in the past, left well alone. It should stay as a legacy and mystery. The guys up there on the stage havn't a hope in hell of recreating what the fans want to hear. Wellers moved on, and so should these guys.

  • @ModManDan67 these guys are giving those who could never see the original a chance to see a cross between a tribute band and the original jam and to be honest theyre superb. As for weller his doing his own thing still selling so good luck to both.

  • Russell Hastings does his job well delivering Wellers guitar and vocals,. he really does, No grounds for criticim at all,. Yiu can tell he feels those songs and has the musicianship to deliver them

  • Mr Weller please just give us a chance to see you with them for one tour please !!!

It's not about the money...it's about the fans Paul ......

  • @greene80s no way fat ole weller- haggard looking and tired slogging through youth anthems would be deflating to me personally- as a solo artist his solo music fits his age and state of mind- most of his solo stuff is good to great so let sleeping dogs lie- im not saying his solo shows are uninspired just that the jams legacy would be impossible to match

  • saw them live at the barrowlands and it was amazing, incredible ahve to say though i think this version is pish.

weller, re-unite the jam! go on

  • Clinton Woods used this song when he made his ring entrance in his last fight.

  • hmmmmm

i'm all for bruse and them and this is GREAT but this songisn't the same without paul shouting it (no one shouts like him)...but it's not the jam...it's from the jam and that gives it my approval

  • I don't understand why people hate the fact that weller moved on from The Jam. Weller sings with more agression in his lyrics in The Style Council than he ever did The Jam. He is a genius and a master of words in my opinion. He grew up and so did his style of music. Don't hate a man for evolving.

  • your an idiot if you think he evoled the style counsil was a joke,he solo stuff is good.

  • No no.. I think it is you who is the idiot. Evoultion is change and development.. not always for the better I might add.

(However I am a huge Style Council fan.) But the fact that you can't even acknowledge just how good The Style Council are means you can't even recognise Weller's biggest talent - Lyric writing. I think you should go back and listen to every Style Council song and review your opinion aftert focusing on the lyrics.

  • @clashcityrocker2007 this bitterness towards Weller! i mean come on the Jam split in 82, nearly 30yrs ago. Weller has moved on. I agree that some of his best work is from Style Council. Lets be honest alot of the mugs, slagging Weller are after all listening to the songs he wrote. Foxton soon came back, when Weller asked him to play on his latest album. Paul is the genuis of The Jam, lets not forget that!

  • @dan32113 I dont have any bitterness towards Weller, it might just be me misinterpreting what you are saying but I am defending Wellers musical choices...

  • @clashcityrocker2007 sorry my fault, i suffer a bit from dyslexia! i was agreeing with you, about the Style Council etc. It just annoys me people keep on about the past, move on! You have to agree alot of people are bitter at Weller, for what? splitting a band up, big deal. He"s still a hero to me!

  • @dan32113 It's alright mate. I agree with you too. The best thing Weller ever did was split The Jam up. I remember a quote from Johnny Rotten saying " The Sex Pistols split up at exactly the right time but for all the wrong reasons." Well I believe The Jam split up at exactly the right time for all the right reasons. I hope he never gets The Jam back together...EVER. I would lose all the respect I have for him.

  • He is Rick Buckler. The Jam's drummer.

  • i agree the jam made weller the first couple of style council 45s were jam but his solo stuff leaves a lot to be desired carpenter covers wot i love the carpenters but wot the fuck is he on

  • I don't really know this band so I have to ask, who is the person on the far left of the picture?

    Really nice song though.

  • I was a big jam fan. I liked the guys vocals, quite refreshing really. they sound just as good.

  • soundtrack of football factory

  • From The Jam are to reIease an aIbum caIIed 'Arse Crack' according to Wikipedia, this can't be true?:

Great band, keep it going guys!

  • For a difference of 30 years and missing Paul - I think these guys have done an outstanding job, I buy it, sounds like 1980 to me (and I was there). Paul has become the very person he sung songs against. Respect to the remaining guys.

  • I loved The Jam. The Band gave us the most Iconic songs of that era. Bruce Foxton was a great influence on me (hence my Rickenbacker Bass ownership) and Rick Buckler was a class drummer. Paul Weller has never had the same successes solo. Its all very well and nice to say to his former band members - sorry, I've moved on....but moved on to what? Why is he such a dull, egoistic prat? Solo, he's very minor and I feel its started to sink into his tiny mind....

  • karaoke !

  • To this day, the Jam remain my favorite band. For better or for worse, Weller moved on. That was his right. But that also highlights for me the obvious: that Paul Weller wrote his best songs and realized his creative peak while he was with Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler.

The Jam's music left a legacy. Choose not to knock either Weller or the Foxton/Buckler side. Respect them both (and Mr. Hastings) and still enjoy the music.

  • to all the doubters do me a favour

  • the singer sounds like he's trying to hard to put on that accent, anyone agree?

  • Saw em in Sheffield last night;Brilliant!!Little exercise for the anti-From The Jam,write down all your favourite Jam songs and then all your favourite Weller solo songs.Which list is longer?? Weller wrote most of his best songs with Bruce and Rick, it's not their fault he's a sanctimonious arse. He's still the man, but Russell Hastings can sing and credit to them for giving a younger audience the chance to hear Wellers best work!!!

  • well said,i would have said it too but i could'nt spell sanctimonious without looking it up i blame the crappy school i never went to lol

  • Saw them here a few months ago. They were great!

  • weller is a big headed tosser... these guys are propper people... keep up the good work lads...CHEERS...!

  • well said mate! i met weller in 84! what a cunt! fucking big headed egotistical prick! trust me if he didnt have half a dozen minders with him i would ave decked the cunt!

  • He definitely ain't a Joe Strummer, though he had scads of talent back in the day.

  • Absolutely. Couldn't have put it better!

  • i saw them last year. I was under the influence of a few bottles of carlsberg export but I thought they were pretty good. Well, the crowd certainly agreed.

It was good on the basis that I was watching some guys play my favourite songs right in front of me, but really, I can see why weller will never join them. 22 Dreams for instance says it all, great album.

And somehow, this song can't be taken quite as seriously unless it's belted out by a wound up 20-something.

    Nice effort tho.

  • Shut up you fucking COCK this is total shite and i can guess already that you know absolutly fuck all about music.

    Jog on nobhead

  • haha.xx

  • give em a break there just doing the classics what we grew up with, and that russel does an excellent job on it, weller still gets his royaltys com on the man aint skint

  • hi mate . fair point, but to be honest id rather come and see you lot play!. ftj aint for me im afraid . keep up the good work.

  • With respect to Rick and Bruce...Don't do it. It's horrible...it's on a par with Kevin Rowland's comeback...

  • OH DEAR OH DEAR WHY OH WHY OH WHY ?

  • The singer is actually pretty fucking decent.

  • Weller didn't want to do the reunion because he doesn't want to be reminded that these songs were classics and he hasn't done shit since The Jam broke up. At least Foxton and Buckler know that and have come to grips with it.

  • Oh my knickers!I used to love the jam.And Stiff little fingers. These 53 year olders touring under the Jam banner.Everyone in the know knows what they said about Weller and his family. They sued them. They are barnicles on the ship. They destroyed the legacy 2008.

  • what did they say about him and his family?

  • Yeah I can understand why Weller didn't want to do a reunion. I can also understand why Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler want to go out and play Jam songs. I'll be there in September to see From The Jam. I can't wait!

  • music is about moving forward not performing thirty year old songs nite after nite from the jam a load of fucking shite. keep the flame paul

  • It's what people want you plank and that's what entertainment is...giving people what they want. not some narcissistic ego trip for Ex classic songwriters.

He's only famous because of the Jam and like was said before, everything since has been mor crap.

Your clearly just a weller fan, so you'd disagree, but that just shows your clueless about musical integrity. Which Weller doesn't have. He just performs 10 year old shite night after night now instead

  • not as good as with paul..sorry but vocals are shocking. in my opinion anyways

  • I think this is surprisingly good. But I also can understand why, based on the level of intelligence displayed in comments from Jam fans here, that he chose to move on, finding his fans annoying to perform for in the latter years. You have to watch a lot of videos on Youtube to get this many unwarranted nasty comments about the various band members, both pro and anti Weller. Get some class, guys.

  • never be the same with out paul vocals are shocking mate .........

  • "vocals are shocking mate ........."

    simply not true you tossflange

  • hear i seen these guys a few months ago, although im only 15 and everybody else there was fat and 40 (which wasnt to great). they were amazing, truly honest and i dont think they even need weller unless your one of those people that suck his dick. from the jam are really amazing

  • Being fat and 40 is your destiny son, and without those blokes, you wouldn't have seen from the jam ;)

Have some respect, they were the original real Jam fans.

  • @uberlethergy im 41 a jam fan since 81 and im still a skinny musical madmen- your destiny is what you make it -weller showed me that! im starting to lose repsect for the older fans longing for the days of their youth - move on and cherish the fact the jam legacy is not tarnished like the clash or other bands that grew mediocre with time or ended in drug scandals etc!!!

  • its better than i thought it'd be actually...after all boys you gotta earn a crust.

  • Look lets be honest about this Russell and Dave (or is it Kevin) are in this for the ride. Pure pub rockers. You should never ever allow former fans into the band especially when they have about as much Charisma as a parking warden.

  • i hear they are going to do bruce foxton's touch sensitive album material on tour! just kidding! i grew up in bridgeport connecticut and there was a cream cover band called creamora!

  • Anyone else getting the "FTJ a first class return" DVD? it's out june 9th.

  • why slag weller off he was the jam this guys ok but wellers a far better singer

  • I dont really like Paul Weller.

He's the only one stopping the Jam get back together!

  • you're right. And the solo albums of Weller with style council and the other one are not really good. i'm old and i was lucky to have seen the jam on stage three time in Paris. it was a real powerfull band with excellent guitars parts and Bruce was really exciting on bass an vocals. Good luck for the Jam return.

  • i dont care wellers not there , good on rick and bruce for letting us enjoy the old jam songs again with them and they make a few quid

  • How can you call Weller such names? he wrote most of it anyway, at least show some respect for him. I do think it would be great if they did a gig with the original line-up tho.

  • oh no this is awful, best leave good things alone please

  • I can uderstand Weller wanting to do his own thing But come on! You cant abandon friends! do at least one show with them!

  • Better than that miserable git Weller!

  • so what if wellers not there, it gives people pleasure seeing two members of the jam live and gives young blokes like me the chance to get some feeling of the jam gigs from the 70s, watch weller doing a jam song live these days and these guys do it better now

  • recently seen them in vancouver and they rocked.russell hastings does a great job replacin weller whos just an arrogant cunt.good on em for gettin out there and havin a blast, brill

  • Seen them in Edinburgh a few months back and the vocals where BETTER than Weller could deliver now, Weller made a huge part of what the Jam where, but if he wants to stay on his ego trip then thats his choice, the last Weller concert as the Usher hall a good while back was luckly to make avergage. The two Scottish gigs where BRILLIANT and still captured the essence of the original tours.

  • Why is there no speel chekker on this site

  • @EdinburghNo1 Silly comment. I saw Weller in 2010 and he was great. I am sure the Jam without Weller are goo as well. Why do people like you always say one is great and the other is rubbish. I would be happy going to see both.

  • what do you call a band without an a**hole? From the Jam

  • @mrspester still cant get over weller moving on 30 + years ago- get over it- ill take wildwood and his latest right along side all mod cons or sound affects- this jam karaoke with a replacement isnt bad but if the jam held up - chances are they would have wounded up like the style council by the late 80s if they stuck together - enjoy the fact their catalogue is near flawless and legacy is set in stone

  • @salvadory I cant believe it took 3 years for someone to bite! I like most of Wellers music, he's a talented artist, I just dont rate him as a person. Champagne socialism and shitting on your friends dont earn cred in my book. Obviously they do in yours. Set that in stone.

  • @mrspester do you know him or me? shitting on your friends maybe wrong but who says bruce and rick were his friends- they were bandmates- ask most bands- most of them arent friends at all- john L loathed paul mccartney for most of their career- is lennon a dick too- as far as champaigne socialism weller dropped his politics long ago- while he was in the jam he lived up to them- now he doesnt- but he isnt singing about it now - ive moved on - i dont need heros now that im my own man

  • @salvadory I give up, your last sentence was way funnier than my original joke.

  • @mrspester not as funny or sad as 50+ men playing 30 year old youth anthems! my memories of the jam are set in stone when it mattered- !

  • @salvadory Why not set it in pea shingle? then you can change your mind later if you like.

  • Really, you can't fault them - I love The Jam still, and fair play to the guys, this is a good version.

  • It is not the Jam without Weller! Weller was the creative force behind The Jam. It is a shame that they will not all get together but until they do this is a pale, pale copy of a once mighty band! They have two people to do Weller's job and they do not start to hit the mark!

  • This band ain't a copy!, weller or not it's the jam.

  • So say Foxton and Buckler knock it on the head and the other two pretenders want to carry on. Will From From The Jam also still be the Jam?

  • So if Rick and Bruce drop out and hastings and the other geezer form a band called from from the jam, what happens when they recruit a drummer and bassist and then drop out? Will the resulting group be from from from the jam? Sorry to expand on your wonderful humour there jokerjames, but I thought that comment deserved it. I won't take any credit for it though, unlike rick and bruce are doing with wellers material... oops.

  • Having seen the original play live on at least 10 occasions from '78 to '82 to compare them with, I'd disagree totally with your last two points. Weller was the creative force behind the Jam - no doubts there - but he's moved on to other things and FTJ are as good as it gets without Weller.

  • Saw them at Brighton in December - some doubts going in - absolutely none by the end of the gig. Fucking brilliant - best gig by far since I last saw them for the last time in '82.

As far as the Weller/FTJ issue is concerned you're either a PW fan (in which case this is heresy)or a Jam fan. I've always been the latter and am grateful for just 2/3rds of the original. Besides, its all we're gonna get!

  • they sound pretty damn good to me. All you need is a lead singer that sounds like Weller and they're going to give you a good show. You certainly wouldn't hold much hope for any new material though. Without Weller there's no point.

  • Agree with that, Foxton's previous solo song-writing efforts were pretty grim!

  • with any member missing, the jam isn't the jam... it's paul, bruce, and rick.

  • thank you!!

  • So Man Utd are not Man Utd without Bobby Chalton then eh? Or the Beatles weren't The Beatles without Pete Best then! Russell Hastings is a superb replacement for Weller. Get over it!

  • bruce and rick are the jam

  • Foxton is The Jam.

  • Saw them at the foum on the 20th....just brilliant

  • weller is the jam

  • thank you!!

  • seeing them tonite at brighton centre. im only 17 and a big fan. my dad saw them 10 times when he was younger! i bet its gonna be awesome!

  • Saw them yesterday in Cambridge, and all I can say is amazing. I thought Rick and Bruce might be getting a bit on for it, but I was wrong. Even the loss of Weller wasn't even a problem.

  • Saw them Friday night in Newcastle - they were absolutely brilliant brilliant brilliant brilliant ............

If you get a chance, you've got to see them.

  • Lads - great to see all of you agreeing that Foxton and Buckler's current UK tour is a fucking massive success for Jam fans everywhere. Shame that Weller can't see the wood for trees about the reunion, however, the fans know best, and Foxton and Buckler and new members - Russ Hastings and Dave Moore, are proving that the Jam's songs are still relevant in 2007. Roll on the US tour in January, then Australia and New Zealand!

  • "jam's song are still relevant in 2007"

ok of course but "jam's songs " are weller's songs no??

    so sad

  • great players all of them, Paul may have issues but no one is perfect

  • saw at manchester, fuckin brilliant. Remember "fire and skill" on the amps back in the day, weller may have the skill but the fire has long gone out so hats off to these guys for putting the fire well and truly back in,

"if i never ever see you agaaaaaaaain!"

  • I agree saw em in Sheffield on Saturday and they were Brilliant, aggression, energy, passion! Paul Weller can go do his half hearted crap recent albums fuck him he wasn't missed.

  • I agree

seen them twice and the boys are great

hastings is brilliant with them, the new boy done good, weller not missed at all by the crowd

  • went to see them 2 weeks at Grimsby Auditorium absolutely awesome great night, well done boys.

  • Saw them on Wednesday night at the Academy in Mcr, they were awesome

  • GOOD ON BRUCE AND RICK FOR THIS COLLABERATION WITH THE BEST JAM TRIBUTE ACT THIS STILL HAS AS MUCH ENERGY AS IT DID WHEN PAUL BRUCE AND RICK WALKED THE BOARDS I,M GLAD PAUL IS SITTING THIS ONE OUT WHY DO WHat everyone expects him to do it would be too easy to just do the reunited tour like all the sad fucks like the pistols and led zep paul we salute you let bruce and rick enjoy their past glory

  • Well put. The Pistols reunion is ridiculous. The new Jam line up works without Paul, however, it would be cool if Paul guested on one or two shows just for old times' sake. Russ Hastings is hot.

  • why do losers argue on youtube, just watch the videos

  • That is the most astute statement that has ever been left on any website ever.

  • I doubt PW would as good as this today singing Jam songs.

  • my dad seen them in 82 at the royal court in liverpool he took my mum last night to her first gig she loved it. sound just as good as they did in 82 if not better just full of grey hairs an bald heads. great night. i think ill tag along next time. :) (ash 19!)

  • Paul Weller is not what everyone thinks,no one wants to remember the house era,but he was the inspiration for the Jam,people must remember that. I still like his music. But he is not a God.Life moves on and no one can make him do what he does'nt want and people must respect the mans wishes.

  • i did not critisise them i said i saw them and they were good .

but it is like saying if will young teamed up with brian may, roger taylor and john deacon hey presto! QUEEN have reformed ffs

  • Bruce and Rick are the sound of The Jam always have, alway will be. So for Chewn to critisise and say the lads are a tribute band means your talking out of your arse, just like Andy Grey. I'll be at the front at Liverpool and Sheffield. So move on up...

  • jesus flashface what are you talking about?

"Rusell Hastings is a genius. This is better than the original studio recording with Weller. Punk rock lives! "

what an idiotic statement why the hell is russ hastings a genius?

  • No, it's idiotic because The Jam weren't punk rock. Russ is excellent, very good live.

  • it sounds like some of you have never forgiven Weller for splitting up The Jam, judging by some of the comments on this board. But the fact is Weller is a class act i have seen him with The Jam-T.s.c and solo brilliant always gives value but what about From The Jam? i have seen these too they were actually very good but all said and done Russ Hastings is pretending to be Paul Weller and that means that From The Jam are a tribute act albeit a good tribute act.

  • I am soooo bored about hearing that Weller is or was a class act. The man hasn't released a decent albumsince Wildwood. Fact! Russ Hastings is not "pretending" to be Paul Weller. Give Foxton and Buckler some fucking credit. They are two thirds of the original line-up. Show respect. They are now more Jam than Weller ever will be. Weller threw it away for a solo career and you can tell, for all his Modfather respect, the man is still not happy.

  • Not so sure about not releasing anything decent since wildwood, i thought Stanley Road and Heavy Soul was pretty good, but since then he has only had the odd decent song off his other albums, i agree with everything else you say tho, from the jam..... great.

  • With two thirds of the act they are not a tribute band. I went to see them in Belfast last week and they were great. Not as good as the Jam in Edinburgh back in 82 but still worth it. Keep the faith.

  • i love weller but i saw from the jam earlier in the year and weller WASN'T missed, he goes on about never reforming the jam then why sing piss poor Jam efforts that sound tired, these lads play like it still means something to them and i like that, can't wait to see em again on dec 8th.

  • nice observation

they do perform these songs like it means something to them,

seen them live and they put their hearts and souls into it

  • Mandyflags, you are absolutely right. This is a classy version of the old Jam classic performed by two thirds of the original line up and featuring a wonderful new frontman/singer, Russ Hastings. This new punked up version shines with attitude and power.

  • Looking forward to seeing them in Norwich on the 12 Dec. Saw them originally back in the 80s. Pauls loss he dosnt want to reform and perform for all his loyal fans. The stuff he released when he left the Jam in my opinion was cack.

  • I agree. I saw Weller performing a piss poor version of In The City at the Electric Proms, and he had Carl Barratt of the Dirty Pretty Things singing lead vocals. It was a shambles. Weller goes on about not reforming the original line up and then continues to play very bad live versions of Jam songs. He needs his head checked.

  • This is CLASS! Better than the original recording, should last MORE than 3 weeks at number one like the old one did. Makes Weller sound gay! More attitude, I love it, can't wait to see them in Newcastle on 14th December! I'll be down the front!

  • I saw them on the 25th of November in Cardiff, went with my dad. Bloody amazing! We were right infront of Russ, the guys are excellent!!!!

  • Very good. Time moves on but the sound is still there. Seeing the lads in Newcastle in Dec cant wait.

  • Hold up. There is no con. The fact remains that Paul Weller can't even perform a Jam song the way it should be performed. Foxon and Buckler are the closest to how we're gonna hear this classic tunes. I beg to differ about Hastings' vocals. He not only sounds like Weller, but his vocal take is punkier, more attitude and it's venomous. In the words of Jack Nicholson in a Few Good Men - "You CAN'T handle the truth."

  • oi shitface or whatever your name is, you`re talking shite man.....get a check up!

  • Oi? Did you say Oi? You must be having a laugh, mate.

  • FlashFace......You are truly pathetic. Beyond pathetic actually. Does it matter to you that Paul Weller WROTE this song and sang it a million time's better than this wanker???? No of course not. Why would something like that matter to you. DICKBRAIN! Go off yourself fuckface

  • Face it, Weller couldn't and doesn't sing any of the Jam songs the way he used to sing them when he was in the Jam. Sure, he wrote the song, there's no denying that, but don't forget he's also responsible for the Style Council (burp).

  • True, I watched Weller do Town Called Malice when he won that award for lifetime achievement or something, embarrassing I thought.

  • You're the pathetic one, how about you come back when you can form a few coherent sentences and a decent argument.

  • The pros/cons of this will always divide people. It's not The Jam, but it is a reasonable re-recording. Bottom line for me is WHAT'S THE POINT? Record something new instead boys!

  • come on people. Are you Jam fans? This is bollocks compared to Paul's vocal - don't ever try to talk this up. The Jam..ie Rick and Bruce...are great on this but not that singer.

  • de puta madre!!see them in madrid

  • Suena de puta madre!!!!! viva the jam, de lo mejor!!!!

  • Rusell Hastings is a genius. This is better than the original studio recording with Weller. Punk rock lives!

  • This is amazing. Russ Hastings is a dead ringer for Weller. This new version of the Jam classic is ace. This is not bloody good. It's bloody amazing. I'd rather listen to this instead of Carl from the Libertines singing a piss poor vocal on In The City with Weller. Get real.

  • Come on everybody... This is a decent vocal - probably as good you're going to get w/o Paul in place. What they aren't doing is making as much quality sound with four as Paul, Bruce, and Rick did.

  • Good to see them back on the road. met them all at an exhibition launch last week in London. Top blokes, great photos of the original line up

  • vrey good hope they bring out a album of there own

  • sounds like weller but a lot more agressive and snotty

  • Are you mad? That's a shockingly BAD vocal - absolutely horrible! This Hastings bloke is not fit to wear Weller's Jam Shoes and I think some people are letting their mid-life crisis get in the way of their judgement.

  • But still great vocal

  • Whose the lead vocal here? If not PW (I doubt it) it's still bloody good.

  • Not as good as paul
