"Why did it take me so long to buy this knife?" is exactly what I said when I got my caly 3.5. Spyderco makes several ergonomically amazing knives but nothing else melts in or feels more like an extension of the hand than the Calypso series knives.
@AceRazor Cool! You won't regret it. I was drooling over an Emerson CQC-7V and I just got it yesterday but I'm still favoring the Caly 3.5 because it's so elegant.
@knivesandstuff Thanks! Even though it's a shit video I had to put something up. I forgot to look at the PDF in the email you sent me! I may not want to touch a BRK ever again by the sound of it.
@1snowreaper No I sold them and I miss them so much! I can't carry a concealed knife (under my shirt) here in California (moved from AZ), and carrying it out in the open in public places raises too many eyebrows. I do plan to get another Carter neck knife for hiking and camping. CONGRATULATIONS on your purchase. Now learn how to sharpen with water stones!
@DJJimCowley Oh damn. NYC just enacted that law. Stupid. A blade that locks open is a dangerous weapon but a fixed blade is fine. Right. Spyderco has made refinements and added new models to their SlipIt knives. I don't need a slip joint knife but I want the new UKPK "lightweight" since it's much less expensive than the G-10 model, both made in USA.

@Valerieannleeh You mean SF? I was already there last week and did my crappy vlogs hehe. I live in Sac so I'm occasionally in that area.

You still have your Murray Carters. I recently picked one up for real cheap on the forums and am super glad I did. Talk about a slicer and dicer.
