  • XD !!! C Cheveux C Come Un Mix Entre Une Mullet Pi Un Afro

  • i could almost be blasted back then to be sitting in the back of a maxi, suffocated by pipe smoke and hairspray just about hearing the radio over the gearbox whine

  • @ZunZaraVoMu 1978

  • I remember this when I was 12 yrs old, love them they were amazing

  • fuckin tune man

  • @awfan1234

I just asked Jeanie about it and it appears it will be a while before it's release. :-(

  • You can thank Moroder for this one

  • @TutsRevenge You can pretty much thank Giorgio Moroder for disco in general

  • This song is magical, scary and fun.

    Great lips syncing.

  • you can go sweet talk to the wind love ita xxx

  • The one in the middle doesnt look like someone youd wanna mess with.....

  • @denny5545 i would like to "mess" with her

  • In 2001 Sheena Easton did a great version of this.

  • A great girls anthem for a break up. i got this song on my i pod sheila has such amazing voice a very under rated girl group.

  • @MsFanmail

I totally agree with you :-D

  • These were the days for great music.

  • jeugdsentiment

  • Hot!!

  • this girl group is the best ever

  • mimeing but great song ,see the live version on here amazing the energy in the dancing plus never lost the vocals!

  • sweet mammacitas giveth up!

  • everlasting disco classic-moroder is perfect as mixer/producer...exudes power/i agree with frakazzo

  • From the UK and as good as anything that came from the US. Terrific vocal and wonderful overdrive sections.

  • Giorgio Moroder the producer of this song, the best!!!

  • I still have the album on vinyl. It was called New Dimensions because it was a much tougher sound than the stuff they had done with Philadelphia International. The first side of the album (opening with this) compares to the Macarthur Park suite by Donna Summer, which was recorded at about the same time - also with Giorgio Moroder as producer, of course.

  • Wooohohoooo darny sexy mis Furgison !

  • that is so cool! x

  • Wow, they were so in sync. Good performance.

  • this is so fucking hot i love it!!!

  • j'ai dancé mes meilleures explois sur ce dsico!!!

  • That's what I told my girl, just let me help raise my child. I know when Im licked.

Danm the judge telling me what too do because I'll do more but guess what she went there anyway and guess what , she got less than I was giving her (smile)

no weapon against me shall prosper. AMEN....!

  • FANTASTIQUE

  • Absolutely brilliant , their outfits are sexy without being nasssty and the dancing is fantastic...great song

  • Way too camp for its own good lol

  • SO this is really what empowered, sexy, talented women REALLY look like!!

This video proves women don't have to cavort in their underwear to sell a song. Sheer talent and beauty shine out!

  • Indeed they fell of fire! They inspire. I still have some memories as a child of scenes like this in music videos before really discovering music. Not knowing much about the world but getting the vibes and knowing that something fascinating is going on in there

  • The stunning and sexy Three Degrees were just full of fire.

These ladies were just not only sexy, but they had fire and fire.

Shelia, Helen, Val and of course Fay, who will be sadly missed, these are pure firely and beautie honies, The Three Degrees.

  • Love that line .. you can sweet talk to the wind .. classic track.

  • Sheila Ferguson FTW!!

  • i'm giving up aye xx

    o.o

  • omg i havent heard this in ages. cool

  • Just amazing ....

  • As a New Yorker, I hate to be the one too say it, but the truth is the truth. Philly was at that time the capital of muisc, IN THE WORLD. NOTHING PERSONELL TO MO-TOWN, THERE OWNED THE 60'S

    PEACE

  • Those were indeed amazing times as I recall now.

  • That was the time:-) Love ya 3 degrees

  • Comment removed

  • giorgio moroder at his best!

  • This came out in 1978.

  • Good stuff. Sheena Easton did a good cover of this too.

  • Nah. Sheena Easton's version just had that horrible modern souless sound / beat, whatever you want to call it. This is a hundred times better.

  • 1975 or 1978?

  • sheer magic

  • One of the best lines ever written: You can go sweet talk to the wind

  • how is it that many 70s compalations albums they never feature this great track from the 3 degrees it always when will i see you again

  • I'm building the ultimate compilation - music playlists for each of the last 100 years ( so I don't lose them again!). Hope you'll check 'em out . . . . . . . .

  • DISCO DIVAS!

  • Love the music, dancing, reminds me of good days when i was younger! Sheila Ferguson was a hottie!

  • Wow this is jam is hot, great voices, great ladies the Three Degrees.

    Love it.

    Fayette Pinkney rip.

  • They blocked my Three Degrees video! So now I'm jealous!!!!! ;''''(

    *stealing the video*

  • Ive always the three degrees a class act

  • Giorgio Moroder combined with the Three Degrees was an exponential result - this was the power hit Three Degrees needed to punctuate the close of the 70's dance scene.

  • I wish Sheila was still with them.

  • Real powerhouse of a disco track; the production on this album "New Dimensions" by Georgio Moroder was superb...NEVEr get tired of hearing this, and always play the album length version loud at family parties and on the radio when Im in the studio--goes down a bomb!

  • HRH PRiNCE CHARLES SWEET HEARTS......i must admit i loved them too.

  • Giorgio and bobby orlando are the best disco producers ever!

  • Ooooooh weeeeee!!!!

  • man. how we used to run to the dance floor when this song was out cuz we knew it would be crowded......old dude here....lol

  • how many great songs does this group have?

    they rule!

  • ALOT!!! I fell in love with them after watching like 20 videos on YouTube... I'm only 22 but I can relate to all the songs I have heard from them.... they are so talented and they are like they were really ahead of their time.....

  • La mano di Giorgio è evidente! Un marchio di qualità!

  • I wonder if Andrew is the first member of the royal family to "hump" a Ferguson?

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW !

  • Dear God Dandy get it righ SHEILA Ferguson LOL

  • lol i thought that was a bit odd. Didn't think the duchess of york was in the group somehow lol

  • yeeeah :D

  • the three degrees are just great, but lost it when sarah fergerson left the group....

  • You mean Sheila Ferguson right?

  • One of the very best tracks recorded by the |Three Degrees with production by Moroder........superb............

  • Yes..."radoiianj" this is one of the best by the "Three Degrees" by far. It also segways into "Looking for Love' which is in my opinion is evern better. I agree completely. The "Three Degrees" were the BEST girl group ever!!!

  • I love The Three Degrees.

But the Diana Ross and The Supremes were pretty good too.

  • classic Georgio Moroder production... wonderful

  • Love this song.

  • 70s disco hot mama's!!!!

  • very disco!

    luv it!

  • nice toon

  • Giorgio Moroder behind this great dance song. Fantastic!!!

  • what show was this called? looks like top pop

  • What a great tune! Excellent audio and video! Saw them perform this live on TV in 1978-79. I have a 12 inch colored vinyl of this, but the audio seems weak, poorly recorded.

  • luv it luv it luv it

  • This wasn't ever a hit in the USA, so in the late '70s I never heard it as much as I wanted to. Thanks to YouTube, I can now watch this clip and hear it whenever I want. This was one of my favorite dance songs back in the disco years, and you can tell I'm now pretty old if I was a disco boy back then.

  • Do you all know that for the first time in "30 years" there's an official beautiful Japanese CD release of New Dimensions and also of 3D ! Cover Art included - in a couple of years this will be for sure exclusive memorabilia.

  • Best cover...Sheena Easton, hands down.

I'd love to see this covered on AI...definitely something new.

  • Heard this in a recording of a live set by DJ Rahaan once. Never knew they performed this track. Awesome :)

Also love that this vid is taken from Dutch television...

  • I can't understand why this song is never covered by American Idol contestants. They always have a disco theme show in the series & this is a belter!

  • It's difficult to cover. The last person to do a good version was Gloria Esteban and it didn't even come close...sorry to say -although was really great by itself.

NEW DIMENSIONS was The Three Degrees greatest album, in my opinion...

  • Three Degrees + Giorgio Moroder = the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was at Trocodaro in San Francisco one Saturday night when they performed and some dude at the front of the stage handed them a perfume bottle. The poor lead singer took a big whiff having no idea it was filled with amyl nitrate. She was definitely "Giving Up and Giving In"!

  • I was a 'club kid in leather' most nights @ Troc but I missed this one...Damn!!

  • uh-huh /nod. am wid u Babyjane. Endless classic. dam, now am thinking of my School-Leavers dance lad ( oops its now called a 'prom'..?). Note to self /get with the groove :(

  • This entire album was GREAT! NEW DIMEnSIONS! This song segued into another great dance song. They turned out to be a time when the DJs could take a 15 minute break. LOL

  • ppl look at me soft when i play this, but they can eat it coz this is a tuneee

  • pure class, THREE DEGREES i love you, and thanks for posting, i'm a chick of the late 70's and early 80's, WE ALL LOVE DISCO, singing this at top vocals, bless ya THREE DEGREES, . . . all those lies and alibies that he smoothed down everytime . . . GOD I LOVE THIS

  • I can relate to this comment!

    well said!

  • Giorgio Moroder...fantastic writer and producer. All those great early Donna Summer songs; the music from "Cat People"...plus this and the other great Three Degrees extended disco song "The Runner."

It is so astonishing to me that Americans hated disco so much, not only because so many wonderful disco records were made by Americans, but also because it is just brilliant music.

  • They don't make music like this anymore and what a hot gals!!

  • Ha!! I remember this video! This is from a Dutch television-show called TopPop with recent comment.

  • yep, before vedeo clip time and MTV,artist had to come to tv shows to promote their songs,no money to pu the artist in expensive hotels, the presenter of this show had David Bowie on his couch at home. LOL

  • the one in the middle is hot! and she got a fat butt! ooooweee!

  • Fabulous track. One of THE great disco songs. And Sheila - MANNNN!!!!!!!!

  • Proper D.I.S.C.O !!!! this is what disco music should sound like!!

  • oh dear, did I love to do that dance routine at the school disco lol

  • sweet talk to the wind!! lol, yeah Im going to use that one

  • absolutely great!

  • Brilliant. Great era for music.

  • IT IS DISCO........

  • my favourite giorgio moroder/ pete bellote, (non donna summer) disco classic. fergie and the girls are so underrated! some disco sucks but this doesn't!

  • Sheer class...a simple dance which fits in perfectly too

  • Fantastic hi-NRG. The backing vocals are, in a word, bewitching.

  • they rule!

  • to noddyneeds, ok so we know you listen to lynerd skynerd (oops i dont think i spelled it correctly i dont know trailor language!) but if you turn off that noisy fan in that hot trailor of yours you will hear disco a little clearer and realize that its great! and if you dont like it then dont listen to it you cornholer . get a cd on pig hollerin and get a life!

  • Yeah they were great, but unfortunately they got caught up in the "Disco" scene which swept America where any sack of shit could release a "Disco" record, thus they just disappeared like thousands of others

  • Straight away you can tell its produced by moroder, but the group put it accross so good. i have no idea why the 3 degrees were never as highly rated as they should have been.

  • Love Val on the left

  • Helen is on the left. Val is on the right.

  • They don't do this anymore...i love them so much i wanna turn into straight.

  • luv it, i want one of those wigs lol

  • ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!

  • Good old Times

  • Remember getting down to this on the dance floor...still sounding good, Morooder or not!

  • Loved this song as a kid, and it's great to see it on youtube.

  • Sheila is SO hot here. Great voice, great song...

  • killer Moroder production!

  • I found it on CD through eBay a few years ago. The seller was a guy from Russia who said he belonged to some sort of "disco club" and they were given permission from several US labels to copy some disco albums onto CD in Russia only. But he sold the stuff on eBay -- he did a great job of copying it. I don't think he sells on eBay anymore but you might want to do a search anyway just to be sure.

  • Does anyone know if this album ever was released on CD?

  • It's from the dutch program "Top-Pop" (AVRO).

Although it was produced by G. Morooder I like this song

  • Sheila sounds like shes being accompanied/backed by the chipmonks

  • The choreography is to die for! What a great song AND album "New Dimensions".

  • I agree totally. you look at some music videos from the 70's and the choreography is laughable which 30 years later, its obvious it would be, but i think this STILL looks and sounds good.

  • AHHHHHH(I'm screaming) THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Disco at its very best!
