When I first started listening to Lecrae I was caught on real quick. All those other rappers that I said I like I hardly even listen to them anymore. Ever since I have started listening to Lecrae I have been even more stronger person. All his songs show a story in some way.
man when i frist came across lecreae i listend to him to make my parents proud that i wasen't listing to gangsta rap...but i stayed listing to evil but now there is no more i have days where i crave hardcore rap music and i must admit i do still listen to some..not as much..but im starting to not even like mainstream hip hop or rap...im so tired of listen to raicist words hate,and sin...this is what i listen to more than one of my idols tupac... i have more of a hunger for the word ...

we got anthony evans to sing at my church a few weeks ago and he was great. lecrae is amazing as well. i like how they found a talent and instead of using it like all these other celebrities, the spread the word of god.

I think I have a great story of how this works; I heard some Wycliffe Bible translators speak, and they said that with one tribe using the term 'lamb of God' for Christ was meaningless, since their holy animal was the pig, so he was the 'pig of God' to them! bizzarre, but true! Read Acts 17:16-31 Here we read Paul bring the Gospel of Christ to the pagans in Athens, by relating what *they* thought to the truth. ie the comparison of the 'unknown god' to our God.

If you feel a pull to hold onto something you KNOW you should let go, there's something wrong. Hip hop and rap did not originate from God, so where did it come from? I agree with all that scripture, however I would argue that the strength of (good) Holy Hip Hop is that it brings the gospel into a particular context... I think I have a great story of how this works; I heard some Wycliffe Bible translators speak, and they said that with one tribe using the term 'lamb of God' for Christ was meaningless, since their holy animal was the pig, so he was the 'pig of God' to them! bizzarre, but true! Read Acts 17:16-31 Here we read Paul bring the Gospel of Christ to the pagans in Athens, by relating what *they* thought to the truth. ie the comparison of the 'unknown god' to our God.

THIS SONG IS BEAUTIFUL...did some1 really try to say that Lecrae's dedication is to SATAN???? total nonsense!!!!!!!! sigh * some christian these days SMH!..... This might actually b the best song on the whole album and i assured that God is pleased and receiving His glory through this song

@malikzzzzz i agree anything we hold higher than God is def idol.Speaking for myself i luv every single thing about the song. the production, beat, artist etc..bt mostly the WORDS WORDS WORDS..there really deep with a clear message.
