This is a REALLY good song. When you take away all the generalisations based on Nick/Disney kids music and just LISTEN to the song, it really is a very good song. If critics heard this song (and others of his) without knowing it was from a Nickelodeon boy, they would take it way more seriously. It showcases a huge, genuine talent. He's an excellent songwriter, and he's clearly learnt a thing or two from all those Beatles songs he listens to.
