@ReaperX3ro The midwest? I'm not sure how you could mistake their accents for any place other than Brooklyn or Manhattan. I'm not sure why people complain about their vocals considering that the Beastie Boys come from a similar background and have the same nasaly pitch.
@ReaperX3ro You don't detect a strong goofball element to this material? I think its pretty blatant and loaded with irony not just in the vocals but in the unlikely subjects they cover as well. I find their enthusiasm very appealing even though they're hardly the most skilled writers.
read a horrendous review on them on pitchfork. and i cant help to agree. they sound like a girl version of the beastie boys with less flow and worse lyrics. its a disgrace to hip hop
read about them in an article on yahoo and i completely agree with that guys opinion... its like hard listening to them because they just sound weird... and its not because they are girls! i mean like lauryn hill is amazing but she has a good rapping voice, flow and lyrics... these girls sound like they are trying to sound like the beastie boys but it just does not work like whatsoever..
