@youngbleeb I saw your response as I was about to email a cognitive psych assignment to a professor, that is to say I'm a psychology major. I can tell you right now that no matter how "imaginative" a person is hypnosis will only go so far. That dog act wasnt real hypnosis, sure tabby was made conformable enough so she could feign acting like a dog in front of people, probably with the aid of hypnosis. BUT SHE WAS CONSCIOUSLY BEHAVING THAT WAY BY HERSELF, AND NOT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF HYPNOSIS.

Its all totally real. Go and see some hypnosis shows and get hypnotised yourself...you will see that sometimes hypnosis can be very powerful indeed and really can make people act like they do in this video

Anyone who see videos like this and doesn't realise that all hypnosis is actually a type of play-acting, is an absolute moron. She is not 'in a deep state' of anything. She is agreeing to follow suggestions, that is all. Hypnotists are really guilty of sometimes deluding themselves totally.

As a hypnotist myself, I can only adivse people to read up and understand the non-state view of hypnosis.

Other than the blatant misunderstanding of what is happening however, that is a decent vid.

yes its 100% real...she was in a very very deep state of hypnosis...that combined with her fantastic imagination and her extravertness, meant we had a lot of fun with her!

Degrading? Well she had no complains about it afterwards and knew before I hypnotised her that she was going to be doing some pretty silly things!
