Thanks. I do indeed use Final cut express, sometimes anyway, I use the same settings for each video, but I must admit I don't know what they were as I set them a long time ago - if you go to 'help' or users manual I think it has suggestions though. As for letterboxing...don't remember how I did that either. Sorry for being unhelpful :S
