The first song I heard was closer. My friend left his cd case in my car and I found a burned cd that said sex music on it. Hahahaha and that's how I found out about kol
Im not even going to lie it took "Sex on fire" and "use somebody" for me to even know who they were, since then i have bought all 5 of their albums and every single one is amazing just as much as the other. The guys are defitenaly not sell outs. I went to their show in Houston couple of weeks ago. Packed packed house and they played great but sucked that the only song the crowd knew was sex on fire.
to be honest, i used to be a "sex on fire" and "use somebody" guy but then i found out that there's more to KOl than just those songs and wow..their old stuff are way way cool and amazing. and i'm proud to say that i'm counting myself to those who love KOL because of their 5 years ago stuff and all and not just a "sex of fire fan"..
Love KOL, first song I heard was milk and I loved them straight away. Me & my cousin ended up getting to meet there cousin brent and through that we met the band, sat on there bus, drank there beer. The following year we got KOL Band guest passes to T in the park & again we went backstage at the SECC & chilled with them again. I told everyone about KOL and no one was interested, its like people dont get good music but now those same friends say to me omg KOL are amazing. It annoys me!
I LOVE music. And, as such, I have been 2 hundreds of concerts of numerous bands and singers. There r ALWAYS a lot of TOOLS who talk & text throughout the entire concert, but then jump up and down, scream, hoot, holler, sing along, etc., when the singer/band sings their big radio hit, and then these TOOLS leave. REEE-DICK-UUUUUUU-LOUS. Pay $50 - $100, or more, just 2 hear 1 song sung live??!?? Really?!? People that do that should b shipped off to a giant island reserved for ASSCLOWNS
I think all the tards that say they are sell outs and all that b.s. should watch this and hear Caleb talk about pushing themselves and how what they do is an art. I could not agree more with everything he said. I love them more with each album. F*cking perfection!!!
Nathan is hilarious, I love this guy. I could just laugh all day listening to the way he describes experiences with such dry humor..."where the hell were you bastards five years ago?!"
i cant even lie i only liked sex on fire, for the longest but ended up taken my bf to their concert n omg there so great live, like the best live concert ive ever seen, i now own every single album they have made! kings of leon rocks!
1:12 "where the hell were you bastards 5 years ago?" haha i find this funny since when aha shake heartbreak just came out no radio stations ever played kings of leon but now after only by the night and come around sundown are out everybody loves them and radio stations play songs from aha shake heartbreak. its kind of a slap in the face
@purplehazehippie and it's just plain douchey and rude and improper to leave without showing any sign of decency by staying at the show beginning to end. <3 ki
WOW it actually shows how ignorant people are that they only like songs because a catchy little chours rather than in depth lyrics which come from the heart and that mean alot. I prefer the older stuff but srill cannot fault a single move they've made
@CrAzYISAIAH Exactly, why the fuck would anyone waste money just to hear two songs? Epecially if they paid for a good seat, that seat could have went to a real fan. A real fan would stay the whole time and listen to every single song, even if she/he doesn't know/like every song they play.
@0000Shelley0000 I always take GLO STICKS when I see them. I think we should ALL throw our Glow Sticks at all the SexSomebodies, as they start walking out....shallow fuckers!
@0000Shelley0000 i think its more fans who have followed them from the early days and are trying to make a point of it. Like prats who discredit the new songs cos they are commercial. but i agree sex on fire is less deep, but its a huge beat and utter commercialism.
@0000Shelley0000 i think its more fans who have followed them from the early days and are trying to make a point of it. Like prats who discredit the new songs cos they are commercial. then there are worse prats who only know sex on fire. but i agree sex on fire is less deep, but its a huge beat and utter commercialism.
@MrLetsgetbeautiful the didnt like the fact that a lot of people only listen to sex on fire and use somebody. well, socks on fire was one of the proposed name for sex on fire when the recorded that song
why is sex on the song that most people like they have much better songs than sex on fire but it seems that the general population likes the crappier music than the deep thought about songs
they seem kinda bitter that people only started liking them when they 'sold out' . I don't think they actually are sell outs but i think sex on fire and use somebody are not the stuff they want to do as artists it seems like what they want is to be famous for singing stuff like taper jean girl or day old blues and they sound bitter that people won't listen to them when they're playing that kind of music lol
Sex on fire is one of my ultimate favorites but Its a shame people barley realize their genuineness! they are honestly MUSIC GENIUS'!!
