Ok, I have to laugh. Apologies to all concerned parties for said laughing. HOWEVER... both pilots are at fault here. The guy who got hit shouldn't be standing that close to the runway. 2nd, the pilot landing should be declaring out loud that he's landing, so people "around the runway" will .."move." 3rd, the pilot needs a little more practice, almost missed the runway and stalled with a trainer, most clubs will require a spotter. It can be funny seeing somebody hit, at least with no injuries.

The field where I fly has a strip of tall grass, and fences, beside the runway. Everyone is required to stand behind the fences.

electric planes are usualy lighter? so impact energy should be lower, at the same speed of a heavier glow plane. i only said so because it was the wing hitting him not the prop, so the actual engine of the plane is irrelivent :)

Glow engines will stop if you put your hand in the prop, electric will not, what you said is true but you would still have bad lacerations from the electric motor if it hit you
