  • I will say the dancing is better than the singing, but that's one of the issues here. It's important to make sure the vocals are tight from the outset before worrying about the choreography.

  • I agree, the dancing is pretty good but the vocal could stand to be tightened up.

  • Someone should post the 2008 show. And the 2006 show.

  • and the soloist really is much better than that, it was just a bad one for him. also, if you know the conditions surrounding this competition, it's a wonder studio even got there at all

  • @zriess what does that mean?

  • @artmania1990 it means there was a blizzard

  • most people that know me know that I am not a big fan of Damon or Urbandale (not to say I don't respect them... they are great performers) HOWEVER... I did get to see this live in Orlando and I really liked this show (second song was just plain weird... not sure how I feel about it)... I can honestly say that this recording makes this group sound like CRAP when they actually sounded AMAZING.

  • What don't you like about Urbandale?

  • To be honest, I have never been fully engaged in Urbandale's shows in the past. I liked this year (07) but I dont really care for their shows. I am by no means saying they are bad, it is just a matter of personal taste.

  • ya, he was sang the solo a lot better at other competitions. He was just winded in this show.

  • He also got best soloist at some of the competitions

  • greg wooden was much better in person than he sounds here on youtube...

    this was an awesome opener

  • i saw this in person, and id just like to say that the soloist sounds much better than how it does on youtube. remember that youtube often makes choirs sound different before you go insulting them.

  • Outside of the soloist, the opener was really good!

  • Who sings this song in real life?

  • Brian Mcknight, I think this version is arranged by Tyler Trepp (Urbandale Alumnus)

  • I really like the lift at the end!

  • Such a great blend!

  • thats really good
