This song is exceptional with one exception: If you're a straight guy and find yourself mumble-singing it at work, the lyrics will throw eavesdroppers..."like I wanna fuck every man in sight". Still a fine song though.

The only other woman I have seen voice her opinion so absolutely and so fearlessly, even though their styles are different is Canadian singer song writer Alanis morissette. I place these two women up there together. When I see men being dogs or women being weaklings and fools, when I see a big organization stepping on the necks of the oppressed, I think of these two women. They sing for political, social, sexual, and ideological reform. That is way more than Beyonce or Taylor swift ever did.

Well said: individuality & courage are rapidly becoming a thing of the past. She may not have got it right every time, but who does? That's just part of learning to be an "individual" ~ you have to fall down and pick yourself back up again from time to time. Most people are either too proud or scared to bother.

I'll always admire her for standing tall in the face of so much opposition.
