Its not good for the bird to think it another one behind the mirror, if they feed thje mirror they can in worst case die.. please, get him a friend if you care about him..

I bet on that. Reason for dying is easy: Swallowing the food after trying to feed his face in the mirror causes sickness of the birds canker - in the worst case this leads to an early death.

Best way to prevent the bird from getting sick is, to get him a real budgie-partner

My roommate's budgie Scrappy was such a ladies' man though. He was always flirting with us and would bite guys =p

We bought him a friend budgie but he hated her and got jealous whenever we talked to her instead of him.

nice hehehehehe , my girlfriend clips the end off their wing feathers , only a tiny bit , when they are young , it doesnt hurt them , but stops them flying off at their usual speed , that way they sit on your hand and learn to trust you , then they are gratefull u dont clip them again and still *up up* hehe
