  • Ahh yes cold mornings and boosted engines - gotta love cool dense air for even more torque and tyre shredding! I ran Australias first ever AU with Kenny Bell some years back (BPT) - those cold mornings meant turning it around on the Mitchel Freeway was always a danger but funny rolling past Holdens at 100kph smoking the hides.

  • That is awesome power and just awesome. It was seconds off snapping the straps like an old rubber band and leaping from the dyno only to end up 400m down the road before anybody noticed! I want this setup in a sedan one day, well now actually!!! Big thumbs up!

  • Also, if your going to continue to spell like a 10 year old and then call me dumb you might want to run along with your couple of day old account you have made to obviously try and stir shit. I must let Kevin from proccess west and all the other people around Australia know that we are all dumb for intergrating the factory pumps and tanks and lines in our cars for ease of installation because hardhits07 said so.

  • its all the same filters and pumps, except the factory ford filter and tank are now removed. Come down to the shop and see the filter that failed.

  • oh yea its so obvious why you put a new fuel system in for what you say is just a blocked filter. you obviously no that fuel system was set up wrong which is why you put a new one in instead of fitting a compatible filter only. did u keep the old fuel pumps and pot with the filter that fucked up.

  • ur even dumber than i thort having the factory pump feed the pot. yeah there ethanol compatible but e10 not e85 which is why your filter blocked but as i said you could of had no filter and still melted your piston...you didnt put a hole in it but either way u had to put in a new piston.

  • wouldnt you rechange it or would you leave it the same and do it again?I've kept the blocked fuel filter to show what happened.

  • Before commenting how about knowing the facts first. Who said there was an 044 feeding the swirl pot? Who said anything about a paper filter? The factory pump was feeding the swirl pot, The factory filter is what blocked, it is supposed to be Ethanol compatible. Secondly it didnt put a whole in the piston, It burnt down the side of it where it leaned out.Its pretty obvious why i put a new fuel system in it isnt it? It just killed a new engine..

  • a fuel filter problem? would of thort you'd known if your running e85 that you cant run a paper element filter...even if you had no fuel filter you still would of put a whole in your piston seems you had one bosch 044 feeding a swirl pot with 3 x 044's feeding off it...sucked the swirl pot dry...and if it was just a fuel filter problem then whyd you put in a new fuel system

  • Yes it was a hectic week to get it back togther after the fuel filter failure that caused the engine to hurt a piston. New fuel system fitted so it cant happen again.
