  • i love old trucks you save them all

  • GRRR...YOUR ALWAYS ON MY RECOMMENDED VIDEO?

  • Awesome! I love your work :-)

  • this would be a grate TV show

  • What about GMC-803?

  • You don't find stuff like that in Ohio. It's usually long since lost the battle with rust.

  • Excellent video, and I can certainly appreciate the effort that these guys went through to save these old trucks. I am a truck restorer and preservationist - I can't pass up a rusty old truck in a field or on the side of the road or in a barn without buying it. Take a look at my youtube videos and you can see some of my treasures. Thanks for posting - I'm right there with you - pulling rusty treasures out of the woods.

  • i have a 41' international and a couple others that are like 50-60 pickups kicking around on my farm one of them was running like 4-5 years ago was a good ol truck till the clutch went out and broke the springs out of her when she got away from us (cause the brakes had been out for a few years before that)

  • @nclark557 Well whatever you do, DON"T crush 'em! That's why I have my website! Which is why I make these videos!

  • @ElderlyIron don't worry im not going to crush them the 41' im thinking about restoring when i get my fuick running and get a job so i can pay for parts :)

  • I've heard horror stories about that lethal (to cars) Oregon Moss....

How much do you normally pay for old wrecks like these?

  • @SeberHusky Haven't seen any lethal moss as of yet. This particular set was by the ton. Whatever the scrapper got for his selling price we had to match.

  • @ElderlyIron

    Ah, I see....

I bet you guys wish you had, like, $2 million, eh? lol

  • in my junkyard we never crush old things unless they are completely rusted.

  • Gotta love a good operator. This guy seems like he has a good feel for the machine and doesn't rip the hell out of the trucks.

  • @heliarche He's a preservationist like us. Together we'd have owned all the rigs on that property if we had the money.

  • really....... i have been looking for months for trucks like that in florida and their they all are being crushed makes me wanna cry =(

  • @ThEc00lEr Just got a line on a 37 Chevy big truck. Oughta be priced right if you have the wad to get it there from Oregon.

  • that really sucks they crushed good restorable stuff i bought a 48 chevy 5 window 1 1/2 ton grain truck to junk but decided to restore it instead i have a vid up of the start of the restore check it out

  • where in oregon is this?

  • why do people do that to old trucks

  • hmm nice rat motor's lol.

My grandfather has a 1954 GMC steak bed with a straight 6. The last time that truck run was close to 30 years.

I am planning maybe this summer to get her going again.

  • How many trucks went to the crusher?

  • You don't really want to know...do you? 2 52 GMC 5 windows dump trucks, 52 Chevy cattle truck fully in tact. 1950 IHC 210, 38 Ford, 41 Ford, 57 Ford dump, 45 IHC military 6X6, 2 Corvair Greenbriers and the 59 IHC you see in the video. I didn't have enough to buy them all. Saved the GMC in the video, a 63 Buick Invicta, 55 Ford Fairlane, 77 Chevy 4X4, 56 GMC 450, 41 Dodge Military Power Wagon, 39 Ford. If we could have got there first, we could have gotten them all.
