Imagine how furry the creators of the game must've been. Instead of adding more gaming contents or story development, they put shitload of effort into a sexy dance segment involving a humanoid cat.
Exhibit B: When you ask the char about the dance thing she answers that the "dance used to be about fertility".
Exhibit C: Every game in the series. Furries everywhere!
Haha, not complaining. I loved the series but Lori and Corey cole totally have fursuits in their home. FURFAGS!!
@Darkhowl89 Perhaps she had a piece of buttered toast strapped to her back with the butter side down?*
*If you don't get it, this is a joking reference to the old thing about cats always landing on their feet and buttered toast always landing rightside up
They made a VGA remake of this game, available for free from AGDI... and it looks exactly like this but with better graphics... even this scene is copied exactly...
better in some ways, not "better" in others...I was really disappointed with how they messed up Shema and her husband's eyes..they seem crosseyed or something, they aren't even the right color in the remake, and I'm pretty sure the clothes were/are kinda off or very different, as well...
but overall I'm glad it's been remade and I'm sure I'll enjoy playing the remake on a new computer as it usually runs too slow on this old one of mine
I agree. Some of the protraits in the remake aren't great esp for the human characters. I was a bit dumbfounded when the AGD site says the female AGD programmer and protrait artist is an award winning artist.
The color palette for the furry ones do not match because the AGD was going by the GQ1 remake colors, which is canon considerin that the cat ppl in part 3 and 5 are of the same color as in the VGA games
The dance was one of the harder scenes for them to produce, since they needed to sync the animation with the music that played. The truth is, as much as I loved the remake, the dance wasn't really that much better. It was far smoother in the EGA version and Shema's facial expressions were better here. Oh well, at least they got everything else improved a hundred fold. :p
I never understood how to beat the wind element. Put the bottle on the ground. But it won't come inside. I finished the game as a child but never could remember how I did!!! grrrr
Awesome game. My fav was QG4, but this was a VERY close second. I think the main reason it's not my favorite is the hassle to find the damn moneychanger!
lol this brings back horrible nightmares of this game. this was a very tough game if you didn't have the book with it. the thing that made me mad was how you had to type in every single command like /ask mr. about his shoes' and sometimes it wouldn't know what your saying so you had to say 'talk to mr. about his shoes' or something llike that :P
Not only that, but check out Sierra's Gold Rush in 1988... see what they managed to pull off with only 8 colors. Man, those were the times when they had so little tools and yet could produce something extremely memorable.
YES I knew it was on here!!! I'll probably upload it with my soundcard too, it was just a hawt scene, also just as an excuse to play it agian. 5 for the next 3 days!
lol, so cute.

This confused the hell out of a lot of people, no doubt.
Excellent animation on sierra's part, with my limited experience with SCI coding i know how much of a pain that can be.

this game came close at making me a furry, but a few hours of Duke Nukem fixed it.

I guess they were referring to a fan award

Its vulnerable to Earth. Once you slowed it down with earth, you can suck it up using the bellows from Issur's shop.
(Which you can get in a number of ways.)

Quest for Glory 2 is the best in the series, only 4 comes close to matching its greatness.
