You guys don't know what you are talking about. It is not a Pyramid Scheme or a Scam. People are crazy. A pyramid is actually the structure of where you work. They use a pyramid and keep the CEO at the top and you at the bottom. Also to be a Pyramid you have to have an exchange of money w/o a valid product or service which Arbonne has had for years. Many people do not make it in business as they don't have the funds or determination to make it.
People fail because the system itself dooms nearly all participants to failure. Arbonne is built on an endless chain of recruitment of participants as primary customers. It assumes both infinite markets and virgin markets, neither of which exist. It is therefore inherently flawed, fraudulent, and profitable only for founders and those at or near the top of their respective pyramids of participants. Even with their best efforts, the vast majority will always lose money.
It isn’t the shape of the organization that is important, but the endless chain of recruitment of participants as primary customers. MLM plans require the climbing of a pyramid of participants in order to make enough money to profit to any significant degree. But unlike a corporate pyramid, in MLM and other types of pyramid schemes, virtually all of those at the bottom (the "downline") lose money (some a lot of money), where in a corporation, those at the bottom at least get a minimum wage.

Research, w/ worldwide feedback, says that the more a person invests in an MLM the more they lose – which is true of any scam. Committed Arbonne consultants may invest thousands, and even tens of thousands of dollars, over years before running out of cash or giving up. In legitimate companies, sales reps are not asked to buy inventory or monthly purchases. But in Arbonne incentivized purchases are merely disguised or laundered investments in a product-based pyramid scheme.

Nobody that sells Arbonne will admit that they are not making any money because that would counter their efforts towards recruiting more no-money-making suckers, so that they might someday make some money doing it. It's brilliant!
I must commend Arbonne for recruiting and brainwashing such a dedicated army of suckers. By the way,? that white Mercedes that your devoting your life towards achieving costs less than $10,000.00 a year to drive. Most Mcjobs pay more than that.

@sbohandley Good points. I see someone flagged/censored your comment as spam when you had no links and are promoting nothing but the truth. To anyone thinking of joining a MLM, just because there is a product doesn't mean that it isn't a Pyramid Scheme. If you make your money off a downline and your upline makes their money off of you that is a PYRAMID. That is why most don't make money at MLM. Even if you get the pretty white car, not meet a quota and the bill for that is yours!
