A big 'Up Yours' to the CAA and their STUPID NANNY-STATE rules. Glad you're all enjoying your JOBS that writing the IDIOTIC and national pride killing rules keeps you in. Shame on YOU. These aircraft are maintained and operated by people with more LOVE AND DEDICATION than any of you buraucrats would even know how to measure. These wonderful machines present what WAS the 'Great' in our Britian title. I think John Beachy Head should SLAM PAST THE caa offices in a Lightning and WAKE YOU PEOPLE UP!

Absolutely brilliant! You can keep your Eagles and Raptors the Lightning is a proper Heavy Metal aircraft! Lets hope that one day this one will be tearing a hole in the skies over Britain again at air displays. Well done chaps!

Thanks, but we the LPG never have had any plans to put either of our Lightnings back in the air, the reason are to compex to go into here, this is a hobby only, (not cheap even at that) rebuilding the Wattisham QRA shed at Bruntingthorpe to house them for the future is our aim goal
