@roofstones if u play MGS2 really carefully theirs a codec cutscene with Otacon and Raiden where Otacon says how the cyborg ninjas that Raiden and Snake fight have special blades made out of special material... xP 1 2: In martial arts you learn to channel your energy along the blade so that way the blade survives the contact and you get maximun power now granted a regular blade would still shatter but with Raidens super strenght and that blade being special well
