@tsjrlover David has two CDs out. One is called "Reflected" and the other is called "Road Less Traveled". Both are excellent! Of the two my favorite is "Road Less Traveled" which is a two CD set. David is already a professional and has a voice like an angel. This young man grew up surrounded by the best music and talent from his uncles and aunt. I think American Idol didn't pick him because he is an Osmond, he has more gravitas than any of the other contestants, period! He doesn't need American Idol to verify his talent. He will be making music long after that show ends. You go David, you have everything it takes and then some!

sometimes God's plans are SO much bigger, higher, and BETTER than our own. i'm pretty sure that David is looking into the face of that reality, and knowing that American Idol just wasn't big enough for God's plans for him! i'm so looking forward to seeing where he lands..i was a HUGE osmond fan as a kid..i LOVE it that their kids are singing and keepin that talent rolling :o)

I saw comments on You Tube predicting him to finish very high on American Idol. I knew better all along. That show wants to discover no name, obsure talent. A guy named Osmond had no chance. Anyone that says David didn't have enough talent to finish VERY high is insane. He is a MUCH better singer than most of the season 8 top 12. For him to have been eliminated when he was is a joke.

@dude8001 he got kicked off because the judge knew he would make it with out american idol what he really needed was the publicity it gave him. he will and is doing great things. but the judge knew because of his family he would do great things with music and they wanted to give someone else a shot

I always liked him... but I was sad when he forgot the words to the song and was kicked off American Idol in Hollywood week. But I live in Utah [he lives there too :D] and I was standing in line to go in the David Archuleta concert on March 27in SLC and we saw him and I got a pic with him! He's really nice:)

My daughter's then boyfriend went on his mission to Spain, and David was his companion for quite a while. My daughter's boyfriend told him what a fan I was of the Osmonds, and he sent a tape of him singing a few songs. I still listen to it. he was great even when he was just 19.

Unfortunately for David, unless he is chosen as the wild card, this was his one and only chance at American Idol as he is 29 years old now which will make him to old to compete next year. The good news is according to his Facebook page he has been in the recording studio to record "The Last Day Of Your Life" and it should be available on ITunes and the radio soon.

AI made a big mistake of letting him go and not letting him have a second chance after he got his voice back.

I think AI was just not for him, but AI lost somebody. AI lost and another person's gain. I think he's going to get a record deal in the very future. This is David's year.

He is singing live to a backing track (I think that's what they call it) which also has his vocals on. Cheaper and easier than bringing a band and back up singers into the studio.

I love the song and the performance. Can't believe that Simon didn't think he was contemperary or what ever term he used. David sounds great to me and should beon the radio.

Interesting that you would make that comment. As both he and Donny mentioned on ET, just having the Osmond name is not necessarily a one way ticket to fame and fortune. Besides that, as David mentioned on his personal website, he wants to be known for what David can do, not merely as another Osmond. I for one admire him for that attitude. He is an amazing singer and is destined to go far. I can't wait to hear his solo CD this year.
