Well if you goto Jumeriah Beach the grounds for the hotels are much larger and there is only some construction so it is still quiet. But you are right, there is construction everywhere and more than 70% of the worlds cranes are there.

I am planning on visiting there in a couple of years when Dubai will hopefully be in less of an economic mess and have a few more projects finished!

2 questions:

1. Did you visit the Burj Al Arab?

2. How was the whole holiday?

Yes I went to the burj al arab, I had lunch there. I have uploaded a video about it.

The whole holiday was fantastic!

I must say that dubai is a mess now. the sky has been mucked up . It is far to crowded. It was great in 2004, the sky was blue. you could see for miles, not many people there, there was still some awesome buildings.

I'm guessing you mean crowded in terms of the amount of skyscrapers ?! Well lets hope things improve cos it is now my fav place even though I haven't been yet lol! These huge projects are just A-mazing!

I forgot to ask before..... which hotels have you stayed at in Dubai and have you been to ski dubai?

I have seen Ski Dubai many many times. We where going to go into it buy it was ALOT.

I have stayed in the following:

Le Meridien mina seyahi beach resort and marina.

And

Le Royal Meridien beach resort and spa.

If you want to count these... :P

Burj al Arab for 3 hours

Jumeriah beach hotel 30 minuites

Lol well ye I would like to stay in a royal suite at the Burj Al Arab. Maybe I will one day! Where did you go for lunch? But Le Royal Meridian is still a good hotel, I've heard good things about it. I wouldn't mind staying at atlantis but it seems to get slated by a lot of people for some reason?

And I'm surprised that ski dubai is expensive because it's like 6 dirhams to 1 pound right? But o well.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed your holiday there, that makes me want to go MORE lol

It was like 1,000 dirhams for an hour, including kit, ski stuff and all that.

Wild Wadi is way better than Ski Dubai ;)

The Burj al Arab is £24,000 a night. If you do go there, film it! The Atlantis looks great, we saw it get built from 2004 and it looks massive from where we stayed. The Atlantis is ment to be 'to much' as in way to much stuff there. Although I myself would love to stay there.

Did you visit places via taxis while you were there? Cos the metro isn't up nd runnin until sept is it?

Yeh Taxi is the best way to get around, and it is cheap. you dont have to wait more than 10 seconds for a tazi. yes Wild Wadi is next to the Jumeriah
