Oh what might have been! One of the great U2 songs of the 00s, and just as importantly, they nailed the vocal, the instrumentation and the mix. Raw, melodic, ready-to-burst, live sounding, AWESOME edgey guitar throughout and esp. the guitar break from 6:15, wonderful eerie backing vocals from the same graveyard quartet who gave us 'The Wanderer' 20 years ago. Can u believe it? Bono isn`t jesus and U2 writes crap songs too. This is one of them. This version isn`t as bad as the unbelievable bad movie version but still this might be the worst U2 song ever. The basis of this song seems to not many more than 2 notes and they extend this boring shit over 6 (!) minutes.

Sounds like some Achtunb Baby sessions outtakes. Bono's voice is totally awfull. The sound - it is too raw. The lyrics - nothing to talk about. The melody - it constantly ruins itself.

I'm really dissapointed.

Luieu2...good chance that it will come out on their new album which should be out in the first quarter of the new year. Just like Zooropa was made while on the Zoo TV tour, a new album is being finished while on 360.
