Technical crap or no, this turned out great. And art is more than something someone can teach you.

As for the children's paints, regular artist's paints can be hella expensive. Sometimes we gotta work with what we have ;)

Nice job. Although R0BINSVENSS0N is right, the shades and light isn't as it should be. If you look at the original picture, you see some blue glow comming out of its eyes. In your painting it's not really notcieable. However, you did a great job.

LOL... you will laugh... I use stupid children paint, that's called "gouache" in french, i don't know in english.

It's just water paint specially made for childrens on classic paper

@profete162 gouache is an expensive art paint........ maybe thats just the brand name, but there is a type of paint called qouache and its expensive and a very nice medium..
