Gr33nkiwi, being trained is much better than having natural talent . Shawn Johnson worked hard to get that far, & she did it . Wieber does great & she's younger, but you're right . she is much better than Shawn .

Wieber has her basics problems too, but not nearly as bad. Wieber was clearly trained better than SJ minus pacing.

i love (huge sarcasm) how the commentators say that the toe on cast w/ the split legs ( what they spent a while talking about) was distracting...not only are they distracting but i actually find i ilke it better her way. I think it is like adding a flourish to it and making it look eleganant...although thats only my opinion... :D

and i think shes hardly copying any of them, the routines are very difference.. there are just few people in the world who can preform those hard skills (amanar vault, doubledouble off bars) and she is fortunate that she can preform those skills.

nah, i don't think she gets deducted as it's just a different way of doing the same skill, he means that it's distracting for her, that she'll be focusing on getting her legs timed and split right and not on the moves that are coming up.

agreed. her double twisting double was actually better than shawn's, because she stuck it, there was no small step. but everything else is slightly off, the toe-point, the leg separation, the one foot, the handstands are not quite there... but she's only 13, give her 2 years and she'll have corrected all these little mistakes :)

No, she's no Shawn Johnson...yet. I think people are excited about her potential. As far as judges favoring her, her score here was a 14.8, which really isn't that high. Even her amazing beam routine only scored a 15.0. It's not like she's being handed any gifts.
