Amazing, however by today standards; this reminds me of unreal 3 graphics. However eventually i forgotten the tech demo only to be interested into the story, i guess graphics arnt everything.

@darkj3am So if you see a pixel shader test from ATI showing a plain spinning sphere, you'd think that's all their cards can render? You shouldn't judge their products by the demos.

Also, check the date of this video. I think it's pretty advanced for 2007.

@darkj3am True, I don't remember a game that had restricted features for ATI, only for Nvidia because of Physx.

Nevertheless, AMD got the first DX11 compatible cards and developed the OpenCL language (worth checking out). Their next step is to make a single hardware for CPU/GPU, which will be kinda hard for Nvidia to beat since they don't manufacture processors.

Gotta say it's getting interesting :P

Anyway, my point is: not always (though ocasionally) Nvidia has the most inovating technologies.

Good processor, regular power supply, low budget -> AMD (ATI no longer exists).

Regular processor, good power supply, big budget -> NVidia.

However, if you are AMD's client, I think it's best to wait for now. They have some awesome technologies to be released soon.

OK, look.  There's nothing wrong with intel and there's nothing wrong with AMD. Right now, Intel has the performance crown while AMD has the value crown. I honestly don't care whether my computer has an intel or an AMD chip. As far as Nvidia vs ATi, well, that's a different story. :)

maybe year ago intel make better cpu but last 4 year AMD and ATI make much better cpu and gpu whit Phenom and 5xxxx series card beat Intel and Nvidia on peace ATI and AMD RULEZ!!!!

die 8800 Gtx hält heute noch logger mit.

Erstaunlich wie weit Nv war ! Die Karte kann sogar der 9800 Gtx b.z Gx2 parolie bieten.

Alein die Archetecktur ist im gegensatz zu anderen Modellen besser durchdacht.

It's just render but if you own HD2900XT you should be able to run it and render it real-time. It's similar to 3D mark etc.

agree, i don't care about the voice so much, but i still think especialy the face looks slight different. I'd prefer they just left original ruby from x1950 and do some "DX10 tweaks" (like more real looking lips etc.) to making whole new model like this one.
