Just moved into a loft in the Crossroads Arts District with my wife from Portland. We are VERY impressed! I got a job transfer and my wife is an aspiring artist, and we love it here so much! So many mature trees, historic areas and the art & culture scene is phenomenal! Don't let the crime rate or "haters" scare you off! Kansas City is great and so are the people! There are some rough patches like every city, but the whole city is so fun and clean! Great entertainment options to!

#1: Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas are TWO completely different places! Although they are right next to eachother, they are VERY opposite. Never confuse the two. The pictures that were taken was in Missouri
#2: If you live in Kansas City, MO be roud of your city, don't down it! That is rediculous. I am in Alabama for school and I talk about KC sooooo much because I love it and I was born and reared there
#3: Kansas City, MO is not the MOST dangeros place in the US; Flint, MI is.
I don't live in KC now, but used to and it's my favorite U.S. city. I was in Rome last month and it really reminded me of Kansas City more than any other place. Both places have so many fountains and cool architecture.
My parents might be moving here. I have to go with them because I'm not 16 yet. I live in England and I love it here but I wouldn't mind moving to Kansas it does look nice. What advice would you guys give me?

@Om3gaG4ming Don't move to down town. go to a further suberb ateast 30 miles away coz you can see amazing storms without hearing the busy street noises. Go to Peculiar. go to south Vally road there and you'll find a 11 year old kid. He'll tell you everything about this area.

I lived there for 4 years while i were going to UMKC! and i loved it! phenominal place to live, hospitable, good food, great people! i like it way more than there western counterpart St.louis! but STL is pretty great though to! visit both if you're ever in missouri!

I had a friend that had a speeding ticket that went to warrant status here in Ks-he was at a party in Mo and the cops showed up making sure that no minors were drinking. The parking garge I Went to was all fucked up and had signs that said exit and they lead you to a dead end. Even the street signs are fucked up. Sometimes they don't have sign and tell where you are at?
Yeah I just got back from Dallas and they have like 3 or 4 good rap stations. S does Denver CO and Omaha NE. Denver has 107.5 and they play a lot of Eminem. And Omaha has 106.9 and they play some tight shit.

who do yall think pays for half the awesome shit in kansas city? do you think the chiefs or royals survive off of ticket sales in missouri alone? Most season ticket holders are in kansas and the bi-state taxes pay for stuff like the jazz district power and light and union station.......so everybody shut the fuck up and love your neighbor because KC+KCK+JOCO is a fuckin powerhouse. all we need to do is get out of our own way.

I like how theres so much hate racial comments about the people of KC. I actually lived in KCMO for 13 years and moved to Overland Park. Doesn't mean i should stay out of KCMO i still have family there. KC is a great place to live specially because of the economy but to stay for the summer is soooo boring nothing to do here..

Most cities put Kansas City to shame. The people of this city do not want the town to progress but rather hate on each other i.e. Kansas vs. Missouri and KCK vs. Johnson county. The obnoxious people of this area vote against a train system because they don't want blacks and mexicans in their neighborhoods. The bus system is totally unreliable and people in Johnson county are closet racists, the worst kind of racists. KCMO deteriorated for decades because of the corrupt good ol boy government

Kansas City circa '85-'91 will always be MY HOME. Born and raised there, but those are the years I remember best before I left in '92 and never went back.
Never lived in a better place than KC.
Worked at Westin Crown Center health club in my college years in the late '80s, and saw the view at 1:02 many times. Looking at that's like a timewarp for me.

The parking garge I Went to was all fucked up and had signs that said exit and they lead you to a dead end. Even the street signs are fucked up. Sometimes they don't have sign and tell where you are at?

Yeah I just got back from Dallas and they have like 3 or 4 good rap stations. S does Denver CO and Omaha NE. Denver has 107.5 and they play a lot of Eminem. And Omaha has 106.9 and they play some tight shit.
