  • When I hear of these two-bit "charity telethons", my eyes just glaze over mainly because they are nothing but a bunch of pretentious BS.

  • Dude I love your videos! You complain about a lot of stuff I complain about. xD

  • They really ruin such a classic. It's a good thing I didn't waste my time with this.

  • @kaiatocute did you say it enough ?

  • fuck u

  • fuck u

  • fuk u

  • fuk u

  • i hated it. i saw it in a bar in Prague and needed another drink.

  • @ muesproductions as a Haitian/American who was born here n raise in the states. I really dislike the we are the world remake. WYCLEF fucked up a timeless classic. and what artist did he get? gay ass jonas bros who can't fucking sing. He got LIL WAYNE can't even fucking rap. He ruined a classic 80 song which

  • @genestarwindjf80 same here

  • SHUT UP YOU CUNT!!!

  • @69in89 because Bono started his own relief thing for hurricane Katrina

  • Billy Joel said, when recording the original, most of the people there thought it sucked.

  • What because I like Avenged Sevenfold ( A7x ) Means I have bad taste in music?? Get real like serious you guys gotta fucking grow up, and your being told off by a 16 year old come on now!! So grow the fuck up and make sure to know the meaning of mi username before "lol" ing at it fags!!

  • Comment removed

  • @A7x4EvR2315 You're being immature by calling people fags.

  • The old "We Are The World" was the best. My ears started to bleed when, I heard the remake of it.

  • bijhiuopikkjhgbbythijnokpl;

  • U can shut the fuck up! Justin Bieber deserves to be in this and there so is country Miley Cyrus and Akon, lil Wayne, and T-Pain have right's to use auto tune and the rap section of the song is great ur lucky I dont find u and FUCKING snuff you!!

  • @A7x4EvR2315 lol

  • @A7x4EvR2315 No. That kind of song isn't meant to use autotune. It just ruins it, as much as justin bieber voice sucks.

  • @A7x4EvR2315 Someone has bad taste in music >_<

  • @A7x4EvR2315 lol fuck u

  • @A7x4EvR2315 lololololololololololololololol

  • @A7x4EvR2315 Lol at A7X fan.

  • @A7x4EvR2315 u mad?

  • @A7x4EvR2315 Miley Cyrus isn't real country, dumb shit. On the contrary, Willie Nelson is a real country musician and he's still active and well known so they could have used him if they didn't offer the role to him after all.

  • 1985 We are the world=to raise awarness for famine in africa and ALL proceeds went to them

We are the world 25 for haiti=attention whoring to "show" they really care when they never showed they cared during or after the disaster in haiti

  • Kanye West's "Where's your will to live" part always pissed me off. They're dying you nitwit, their bodies are littering the streets and their homes destroyed, you complete moron. They don't have much will to live.

  • If I was already in the music business, I would written an original song for the Haiti situation and set up an all-star cast of musicians for the song. You mentioned Pink twice as well.

  • I agree, the opening should have been done by an artist with more permanence, not a teen idol whose bound to fade out. I didn't like the rap part either. the only reason I saw this video is because my older sis was watching it, and she loves mainstream top 40 stuff. Ugh...it's understandable why she would like it, she's always been 'with it', but still, I wish she wouldn't put it in my face or act like my music (and stuff I like) is lame, because it's not.

  • I didn't like the new version either, I like the original w/ all the 1985 singers. I'm only 18 now, but I can name almost everyone in the video when I watch it. I love the 80s, this generation is ruining the 80s trying to make it theirs (but you can't put all the blame on the kids, it's the industries that are doing that, feeding off of the ignorance of young people--not to mention their shrinking attention spans).

  • @actionfiggaone some of them do it for publicity. Plus why the fuck do tou care what i say

  • this white kike has nothing better to do i hear hes still a virgin lol

  • I just watched your rant, and I totally agree this video FUCKIN sucks!!! But I do have to say that " borderline" country music is represented with Miley Cyrus And that piece of work from the Zac Brown Band.

  • @h2cardinal Miley Cyrus's songs aren't really country. They're more pop.

  • your sucks eggs.

  • Those vids always make me wanna watch radiohead live footage o wash away the bad taste of fakeness from the artists.

  • BASTARD.

  • @TheBilliejeanmichael Maybe that was a little harsh, but I think he was referring how the news and stats constantly say that Haiti is the poorest and most unfortunate country in the Western Hemisphere.

  • i saw it on bet. I thought it bullshit. These celebs and artist were just singing. You see haiti had alot of problems before the earthqauke. I bet they didn't even do shit. Celebritys always try get brownie points for acting like they care about something that they really don't give a shit about. I feel bad about what happened to the haitian people and i despise celebs who think they are a part of the solution. Look at new orleans they still have problems

  • @brianban110 sooo u think because they're celebrities, they automatically don't care?

  • Reminds me of Hurricane Katrina. You had bands like U2 and Nickelback in every single fucking add for the relief support for them.

  • ill tell ya why gaylor swift and lazy gag gag werent in the song: because whoever chose who was in the song knew better!... but not enough

  • @rockfreakmccool or they just were too busy to do the song, JENIUS? god, you're an idiot...

  • at about 5:58 u said pink twice lol. but i still like the videos! keep it up

  • why should I worry about charity and other people in other countries? I have my own shit to take care of...

  • "We Are the World (For Haiti) in spanish is 10 times better than the English version but almost as good as the original.

  • Kill urself

  • Autotune takes away talent, or gives fake talent to those who can't perform without it. It's like Vikoden to some artists. They can't go without it.

  • @DiamondRevolver Could you imagine where T-Pain would be if Autotune was never created? He'd be working at a CVS or a Rite-Aid lmao

  • @DiamondRevolver havent you ever thought that ands cool? i think auto tune sounds awesome

  • this guy knows what he's talking about

  • Don't forget "We're Stars," the 80's metal/hard rock response to "We Are the World." Ironically that song sucked too, despite featuring Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford, and Dave Murray and Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden.

  • And btw, Jay-Z made his own damn song for haiti! that was way better and I dont like the bastard! Also why didnt they do like Vin Diesel and go down there to actually help? Vin Diesel helped pulling bodies out of the ruins and give first aid and stuff, but no one speaks of that! Vin Diesel, the man people look upon as a jackass hollywood star(not me though, i love the guy!!!!!!)

  • I didn't know who justin bieber was before that song.

  • The old "We Are the World" beats the hell out of the new one. I paused the video and close the window once I saw Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. Once I saw those two fakeass idiots, I just knew this wasn't worth watching. The old one is awesome!

  • @BlackorWhite0920 yup u got that right

  • Comment removed

  • Was Johnny Cash even in the 1985 version?

  • Nat King Cole? It's nice to know you know popular music pre-60's :D

  • Comment removed

  • Out of 100$ donated to haiti, 99$ goes to shipping and handling.

  • you said P!nk twice

  • The moment this organization starts revising the classics to better suit the mechanics of autotuned mindlessness, I'm going to "donate" a bomb for a charity.

  • you look like Blest from Bomb The System.

  • You should run all the record companies...please!

  • Do you have any positive review? I saw your one for Chris Brown's "F.A.M.E." album review (not yet on Youtube) and didn't finish cause you started off dissing him a LOT. I like some of your videos, but I hate it when you diss the good stuff.

  • @gameaddict51 his opinion is not yours. He has had positive reviews.

  • @gameaddict51 he already did

  • Guys don't insult Haiti just because you hate that song.

  • I intentionally avoided this song when it was first released but your review compelled me to watch it. God, you were right about Wycliff Jean! That was just weird.

  • This song sounds like an abombination made of shit. Seriously they got the worst fucking singers for this. And there was auto tuning involved? seriously can these fucking jokers do one bloody song without it?

  • @nxvznx You need help!

  • haiti wasn't always a shit whole its presidents/dictators made it a whole as well as American occupation

  • Fuck Haiti.....realy FUCK IT!

who gives a shit about this little fucked up thing ????

  • @souljalinchen

Finally somebody has the balls to say it.

  • @souljalinchen haha u must be some outcast who sits on his computer all day being brain washed by the internet. grow and and get a soul. you must really have nothing better to do

  • @oobaby85 im the brain washed? no you are! only becouse everybody is saying how much they love haiti, you r saying it, too......but seriously...who the fuck REALLY cared? nobody...everybody said that they wanna help haiti but nobody really did...get an own opinion

  • See my church was sending charity for years before the earthquake, Earthquake happens, suddenly people who dont really care about the country are praised as heros...

  • your lame and you SUCK!!!!!!!

  • ONLY MAINSTREAM LOVERS WOULD SPAM OUR MUSIC AND NOT CHECK OUT MY VIDEOS!!!!!!!

  • 3:46

  • This song was blasphemy

  • Haiti sucks as much as the song...

  • Swift was actually in the Hope for Haiti concert which to me had a better impact and a better sound than this shit. I'm not a Swift fan, but the performances were acoustic.

I am hoping that they do not do this to Japan. Let Ayumi Hamasaki and Morning Musume encourage people to save on resources. Unfortunately, I've heard this terrible rumor that Katy Perry and Bieber are already working on a duet for this.

If that song is released, can you please do a rant on it, Muse?

  • @TheYzarci I know this is old...but too late D:

  • why didnt they give money to haiti before the earthquake? kids over there are starving everday, and its only after an earthquake that people give a shit...or atleast pretend to give a shit

  • I totally agree with you. Except for your opinion on the original, I fucking love the original. I hate Wyclef!

  • That song was the first, and only time I have ever heard Justin Bieber sing, and I went back to that part thinking, who is that girl singing their, I have not heard of her.

  • terrible song... so insincere and superficial. I hardly think anyone with a brain would have appreciated half of those fucktards anyway.

  • That song really sucked. Just everything about it... lil wayne singing Dylan's part? Really?

  • @CMdude1500

...and a deranged Wyclean Jean singing Bruce Springsteen's part?

  • @CMdude1500 That may sound sacreligious to you, but it makes perfect sense to me. Because Lil Wayne is the only one who could ever hope to sound as bad as Bob Dylan did in the original.

  • I agree that this was a pretty sucky cover but I wanted to point out that country music was represented by Sugarland, The Zac Brown Band and Julianne Hough.

  • i agree the intro with that fag killed it and the rap part didnt make sense

  • Did you just call Africa a country?

  • @YoungJuvieJT , LOL even if akon didn't use it he still fucking sucks!

  • imma huge fan of muese

  • Hilarious dude!

  • @YoungJuvieJT yes, he does, he's been known to do it. he did it on his last album, and is very noticeable on the David Guetta track that he was in. he sold out.

  • Lil Wayne, Akon and T Pain FTF. (For the FAIL)

  • That song SUCKED ASS and was a complete fucking joke. Lil Wayne????? Seriously? Auto tuned, piece of shit, wanna be rapper.

  • I'm just asking, if u don't like this song why do u care who is on it it seems like u were kinda upset that Taylor swift was not there plz respond

and i think they needed auto tune cuz lil wayne is a crappy singer without it the song would be bad. I enjoyed the song btw

  • ur gay

  • my problem is...... WHERE THE FUCK IS LADY GAGA EMINEM JASON MRAZ TRAVIE MCCOY AND BRUNO MARS??????????????

  • @josephr910 If they had Eminem in the song, I would have punched the monitor, even if its for charity, having Eminem in a song with the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, T-Pain and Justin Bieber is disgusting. Eminem is FAR too talented to be in the same song with those talentless hacks.

  • @Gezim911 true he is far too talented but celine dion is in it and shes one of the best :/

  • @josephr910 its more than that, the rap part of the stupid song was plain awful, it was cheesy, it was shit, even having Hip-Hop legends like LL Cool J and Snoop Dogg made the song rubbish. They should have just re-released the original, and not take a piss on Michael Jackson. Eminem is one of the last good musicians out there with mainstream attention, i don't know who Celine Dion is but I would rather have her on the song than Eminem. Bruno Mars HAS talent, and he should have been on the song.

  • @Gezim911 she already is in the song and yeah bruno has talent he shouldve been in it!

  • @Gezim911 Bruno Mars wasn't really that famous at the time, but should have been in the song.

Marcus Mumford should have been brought in to sing. He has talent, not Lil Wayne and Wyclef Jean.

  • @ecermusic this is a 7 month old comment, it's way too late to reply now -_-

  • Justin Gayber at the start killed all the video. period.

  • This song represents what today's music has become:total shit

  • oh yay! video's on youtube i agree with!!!!!!

  • hahaha, ur going bald and have a shit beard :)

  • I really love the "we are the world in 1985"...the remake was horrible even though it was for Haiti it still didn't do the original any justice.

  • lol U said pink twice.

  • 20% Goes to haiti,

the rest goes for hard profit.

  • @TheExtremeReality who said they gave haiti any

  • yea, I'm GLAD I didn't listen to all of that dumb ass song. What a joke!

  • ill tell you why cause all those shity pop artist and rappers from mtv cant do shit, all there songs are horrible and machines do all there work, they dont have the creativity to make a good song

  • I wouldn't give 1 cent for that charity Btw 1000th comment :)

  • @Eggdude16

    You mean "charity"?

  • @Eggdude16 Cold bastard.

  • maybe yall should get off your period and lighten up okay? geez its just a fucking song to make haiti feel better and that someone's there to help them in the worst of times. If YALL end up having some natural disaster and ask me for my help im gunna say fuck yall and hell no im not gunna help you guys maybe you guys will get knocked off the map FIRST in 2012 GOODBYE.

  • Tears in heaven with ozzy, rod Stewart, Steven Tyler and slash was better

  • @Mousetrapers maybe.....u just suck -owl city 4 ever, mues 4 never

  • the song sucked but haiti is a noble cause and of course this loser has 2 fuck it up! u kno ur a dick rite dude? ok just checking -owl city 4ever, mues 4 never!

  • The autotune was for recognition. If autotune wasn't in it, you couldn't know they were there.

The song itself was amazing, but ruined by too many crap moments.

  • haiti should suffer

  • This song is a perfect shot of what music and culture has become:complete shit!

  • Wyclef Jean and the rap section killed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • well ya know the original yes is great but they did not do this to make it worse they did this for haiti so that haiti did not feel left out so u need to learn that just because they are remakes does not mean they are the worse in the world

  • ya kno yes they did redo the song for haiti but ya kno what that is the best song in the world and you kno it is a great song and im sorry that they wanted to redo that for charity so yea the reason they remade it because it can go along with alot of different things that happen so shut up and remove this video thanks!

  • @erykswifey2012 The original kicks the remake's ass by miles.By putting Justine Bieber and other shit for brain artists, you automatically fail

  • HEY!!!! F%*KTARD WE ARE THE WORLD IN 1985 WAS AN AWSOME SONG. maybe im saying that because im a michael jackson fan

  • @The2dudesandacamera yeah, you became a michael jackson after he died you fake prick

  • @tmvledzep hahaha you owned that guy lol

  • It's disgusting, Mainstream musicians that couldn't let go of the fucking autotune, makes me sick. When the rap came on i literally LAUGHED. D;

  • We are the world 25 for Haiti is the worst song ever. It's a fake ass song and those shitty pop artists only care for the money they get by this song and not for Haiti. This song is even worse than like a g6 and pretty boy swag.

  • hey meus make a video about why jersey shore sucks

  • @keru44 lol, just watch 5 minutes of it and you will know why it sucks

  • U SUCK YOU IDIOT!

  • @AshDragonBladelv1000

Dude We Are the world 25 sucked hardcare tard

  • Comment removed

  • @AshDragonBladelv1000 oh, shut up. the song sucked, end of story.

  • justin beiber is just trying to see if any justin beiber haters will become a fan with the song, well all i can say is FUCK U JUSTIN GAY ASS BEIBER!

  • @JeffHardyRocks3000 oh god and yes i agree

  • there basically just trying to get more famous by singing a song about they care but of course they are right selfish bitches

  • If I was a famous musician I would refuse any offers to be in that music video simply because of all the shitty mainstream artists that were in it.

  • So, Janet being the whiny spoiled little whore that she is most likely demanded her doormat mother to act as the persuader, just like her brothers do - whenever they are having trouble with their litters of out of wedlock children and keeping their wives between the stove and fist.

  • 4:34 yes it was such a cheesy moment and what is interesting I read Michael apparently was the one who left Janet out of the original recording (I assume because he thought, and rightly so, that her voice lacks stamina - her singing is practically whispering and moaning).

  • i agree completely, finally someone with a mind understands the facts from what people want to hear. Stupid ass song never should have even been remade. I hate music these days, it sucks more then gay hookers.

  • @PinkPearl26 shut up, and listen to real music. and stop being such a sheep to these commercial artists.

  • great video the song was crap,

they should have left it alone smh.

  • In the past decade, creativity has become a rare thing. It seems like everywhere we look in the movie and music industries, classics are being re-done, recycled, pissed on and left for dead. This is the case for the new version of "We Are the World." It is true that most of the ppl selected to sing verses in this version of the song were only chosen to generate as much money as possible for both Haiti and more importantly themselves.

  • no body has talent to write a new song its wasn t that good but michael jackson had talent in u got usher in justin bieber

  • I know it was for a good cause or whatever, but they had the fucking cheek to put in autotune and rap and shit, how disrespectful, they ruined a meaningful song...
