  • I've been training under Fred villari for almost 3 years now, and it has changed my life. I can defend my self well, Im in better shape, and I am much more confident in myself now. Thanks master villari!

  • I used to think he was a fraud until I met him in real life. His casual competence is impressive. He is really good. You would never guess it from his gold chain and accent. What is his accent anyway, I'm thinking New York?

  • It seems that the Problem with SKK isn't Fred Villari but the quality control of the style. Villari has shown in many videos that he knows his stuff. Those that teach SKK aren't as good as he is. When you mention SKK most people think McDojo. His style isn't bad. It's just that none of the teachers are as good as he is teaching it. Also it doesn't help that he runs the biggest (or second biggest) McDojo chain in America.

  • Wow! What amazing control.

  • So you wanna' be a player,

    but your wheels aint fine.

    You've got'ta hit us up,

to get a pimped out gi.

    Nice ugly uniform.

  • I wish I could find more videos of Fred Vallari. I am currently Studying "American Shao-Lin Kempo" Under Master Robert. Pearlswig (8th Degree Blackbelt)

  • That was cool to watch again, I was actually at that seminar. Do not get to worked up over the negative talk about GM Villari. Those of us that have worked with him know the truth. Why they feel the need to bad mouth another master, who knows? Thank you for posting this!!!!

  • Professor Mattera used to teach that guy before they split their business.

  • Actually it was the other way around. It is common knowledge that Mattera was a student of Villari

  • @zeeboo56 According to Villari. They were business partners with Professor being the instructor.

  • @bncrbartxla According to Villari?

  • @bncrbartxla I mean Professor.

  • Fred Villari is famous for his fast hand techniques.

Regardless of what his critics says, he is a capable martial artist!

  • This stuff is amazing I love doin it IT REALLY WORKS TOO  and ik the guy thats gettin hit he will kick ur ass

  • I have alot of respect for the villari corporation. When I signed on in 1984 it was a total different animal from what it is now. I have watched it over the years soften up and turn into a belt dispensing drive thru. All the different programs they offer. the special programs that cost a pretty penny. Yes, and years of training will toughen you up, but it doesn't mean if you hold a 7th degree your invincible. Take it from someone who is very good in the arts.

  • lmao

  • hes bs

  • damn not every master is gonna be asian. and the belt thing? it does not matter look at some old ufc videos it only depends if u r good at it

  • Villari knows his shit but little do some know he is the founder of wall-mart karate, Black belts should not be put in a factory line and have serial numbers. wich is the reason a true martail artist should not belive or represent his degrees because that is your black belt not anyone elses

  • wow i cant honestly belive how straight up stupid u are...its to help us establish rank and respect our higher ups, thats as dumb as saying that we shouldnt have belts....wow idt ive ever heard/read such an unintelligent comment in my entire life

  • Comment removed

  • okayyy there dinkydonk500,, if you knew anything about martial arts you would know that fred villari is NOT a joke and he is very respected

  • I concur!! Fred Villari is the real thing. I'm a 2nd Dan Black Belt and teach Villari's style in Toronto. There is no other well rounded system out there then Villaris. Love him!!

  • hello, im a green belt with brown stripe, i trained in etobicoke for 6 years, however my sansei had stopped teaching, can u please send me an email for where your dojo

  • I'm sorry, but this is just not true. There are very few teachers out there who are as infamous as Villari for being low quality scheisters. "Villari" is synonamous with watered down, McDojo style Kenpo Karate belt mills. Anyone who has any REAL MA training can immediately look at Villari and see that he is a "C" grade martial artist.

  • @Rambamatic kudos kudos i plus oned you so that there would now only be one misus one left

  • @Rambamatic ok just to clear things up.... my boy who is a black belt is the one who posted this. arrigant yes. i am in no position to be involved in a discussion of somethign i am not fully aware of.

  • @busterdoodles64 yea okay what about Mark Sheeley

  • if any of you were in martial arts for long enough youd know that fred villari is nothing but a joke

  • dude ur so stupid. ive seen him in action he's my master. if he wanted to he could kill you in 2 seconds!

  • I am a villaris student and i am a first degree black belt. you learn this combination when you get to first class brown belt(brown with 3 stripes) right before black. you can also do it without a belt but it is more challenging to do the flip.

  • depends on the school

  • yes, however i learned this at green belt with brown stripe

  • 0:31 my sensi told me about that HA

  • My belt? As a weapon? Shuddup.... SERIOUSLY?!

  • Okay, I don't know if your comment is meant to be sarcastic or if it is an ephinany for you. So, for the record, and for those who have read your comment: yes, seriously. You can use a regular belt, like the one you wear every day, as a very effective weapon. And yes, you can snap a persons neck with a karate belt rather easily. At least people who study the Villari system can. I can't speak for anyone else.

  • No sarcasm intended.

I AM a student in the Villari system and I still haven't ever seen anything like this.

  • Good to hear from you. Belt techniques like this are found in combination # 13. Usually taught at the advanced level. Good luck with your training!

  • Well I don't know combination #13 so that would probably be why. After all, I'm only on my fifth belt. I'll have to ask my master about this.

    Thank you!

  • Villari looks like he could be the love child of Steven Segal and Ron Jeremy.

  • This could be the funniest thing that I have ever seen? The sun glasses and that idiot just standing there getting wipped with a white belt?

  • Dude, the seminar is instructional. The uki helps the demonstration by being somewhat static for the purposes of instruction. The guy standing there is not an idiot. He is aiding the demonstration. Empty you cup.

  • i had combination 13 4 a while now, and i thought he was gonna take the guys head off, but he didnt pull the rope on the flip like u really would hav done it.

  • i go to his studio that he built and u have no idea what he is capable of

  • please explain the sun glasses? i don't get it!

  • it was in the '80s, that just how they did things... with sunglasses.

  • i used to do this style but sadly i got bored with it and quit around 1st degree brown

  • any ussd instructor wouldn't be dumb enough to mess with him. besides, you guys came from fred villari...grow up.

  • If this guy sucks then charles mattera sucks because he trained him from white to 7th black.

  • @ninja98765432 Charles Mattera must really suck than. Any of you guys around the Louisville area so you can show me how this is so bad ass in person?

  • As a USSD isntructor, I can just say: If you're a USSD student, don't make posts like this. Period.

  • or you'll what. Your not in a dojo, Period.

  • this fatbasterd is lucky he didn,t break that poor kids neck. Id put my money on kim couture vs vilari and she sucks bannanas

  • What I have learned throughout the years about self defense, is to use your head. Use what is practical. Yes, villari teaches practical self defense, but dont call yourself kempo karate, jiu jitsui and kung-fu. Call it what it is, self defense with martial influences.

  • you might loose your pants if you take off you belt to defend yourself!! Then what!! :O

  • no offense, but if you have to wear a belt to hold your pants up, you're not wearing a good pair of pants for your size.

  • Also, you saw what he did at the end with that "piece of soft cotton". Trust me, you do not want to be on the recieving end of that technique if Mr. Villari were serious about dealing with you.

  • @mastersjh WTF is this shit? LOL.... You are a clown. What is up with those glasses? Who actually does this crap?

  • The most useless self defense weapon i've seen so far. Swinging a piece of soft cotton in a figure 8 doesn't make it a weapon.

  • You wouldn't use a karate belt. You would defend yourself with the leather belt you wear every day. I personally wouldn't want to get hit with the buckle end of a belt. It's one of the few weapons everyone can carry legally and is excellent when defending against a short range weapons such as a knife.

  • I had this technique done on me yesterday, including the figure 8 by a master of Villari's. If I were as weak as you I would have cried like a baby.
