I don't understand Jonny. He sounded a bit sad when he said "No one wants to know about us, they only want to know about Radiohead" but then he said "I think its the best possible position to be in." I really don't understand. What does he mean by all this? Someone please explain!
@katenzcool I think it's the fact that they're only interested in the band members because.. they're Radiohead and they don't really care about much else... but on the flip side they don't have to suffer through invasive questions regarding their private life, and only have to focus on their musical accomplishments.

i've listened to this several times and i always think, "Colin's 2 years older than Jonny" so it should have been "I met Colin when HE was about 2"....unless he's referring to the first recollection he had of Colin when he was around 2 years old, and Colin was already older...

I think it's sad that it's not true for me, what he says about fans not being interested in the lives of the radiohead members themselves. I think there must be such a connection between the way they think and live and the music they make. so good to hear him thinking about music itself. That's why radiohead's so awesome. metamusic makes the best kind.

Not that I am as awesome at it as he is. But the Tourist which he wrote, it's got to be the most beautiful song in the world.
I love that he's so open to other peoples' ideas about his music. So many people love to say to themselves "this is my vision, and anyone who can't see my vision is inferior," whereas he can find new things in something he's helped to create based on the insights of pretty much anybody who has an idea.
I absolutely love him. As everyone has already mentioned, he's so down to earth and modest, yet perhaps the most talented musician in mainstream music today. He may not have a God, but I do!!!
