@BMWraptor Completly agree. The excuse about too many competitors and events is rubbish. The people who compete in the Kilo will be in the Team Sprint as well. Also the same case with the Pursuit events.
@craydee1975 exactly. Those guys have more disciplines and will be there anyway. Those disciplines have great tradition and its big shame they are removing them... Pursuit events where absolut classic. 1km is also huge classic for me. They can add new competitions, but its stupid it must be payed this way- by removing something else..
@wwtdd1 ask Hoy him self. He comes form BMX also... is BMX realy nooby teenage sport. I can tall You as old BMXer: Nor teens, nor amateurs can manage Olympic BMX track... its only for PROs. Not sure that TT must have been victim of 40y old sport, but BMX earned its rights 15 years earlier.. so it was time when some of TC disciplines even did not existed.
@wwtdd1 and You must realize one more thing: those, just 32 BMX racers at olympics earned their rights to take part in just one discipline through 3 years of racing each other around the world. In just one year they have about 35 events in average. Imagine just 12 rounds of Continetal championship. And most of all: most of riders have at least 15 years of active, seasonal sportsman carier. This is not freestyle where most of riders start at teen age.
stupid idiots removing classic disciplines from Olympic games..
