Thanks for understanding. I probably could have said it more diplomatically. I like to see people doing new things with the metal drums or any instrument so good luck with everything. It is good to see fellow craftsman doing their thing.
You are confusing people by naming your video Sunburst anything. I've been making and posting Metal Tongue Drums on and off since 2005. The name is what I sell my drums under, not just how I'm describing a video.
In the interest of not confusing people with metal tongue drums, ,and the fact mine is the trademark Sunburst Steel tongue drum, it would be nice if you changed the name. The comment I posted wasnt' meant to call you a liar, but it doesn't look good for you to do this.
I currently have one up there from July called Peaceful Sunburst. There have been many up there before that. Check the Dates. It is the name of my steel tongue drum. It makes no sense to call yours Sunburst for a scale, whereas mine is in the electric guitar colors with black, yellow, and orange commonly referred to as Sunburst, hence the name. I found out about yours when I posted my most recent one, and saw you had named your scale. Seems like a few of mine would have popped up.
@mercurial4u2view Fair enough. Again,. I was unaware of your drums. I have changed the name of my scale to "Starburst". The design of this particular drum lends itself aesthetically to that name better, anyways. My sincere apologies. And for what it's worth, I do love your work..... especially with the wood tongue drums.
@mercurial4u2view Hey man, with all due respect, I knew NOTHING of your particular drum, especially as you posted your Sunburst video 2 weeks after I posted my own scale sample. I don't have a problem finding solutions to problems, but I do have a problem being called out in public for something I did not do. I gained no inspiration from your creations and was quite honestly unaware of your existence. I stole nothing from you and have no desire to do so either.
@mercurial4u2view Your sunburst seems to be a descriptive of the actual visual presence of your drum, whereas mine is a descriptive of the scale. Again, with your video being posted 2 weeks AFTER mine, I have a hard time accepting this accusation. I'm all about getting along and helping each other, but not if I'm being called out as a thief. Which I am not. Perhaps a quick question to me, rather than an accusation would have been more effective. Good luck with your drums, sincerely.

This is the original Sunburst Steel tongue drum. Not cool to try and name your scale after my drum.
