I have been wracking my brain trying to remember what cartoon it was that had Sock in it and I found it! I knew it was something about the Wizard of Oz! Thank you so much for posting these!

"The Enchanted World of Rankin/Bass" (1997, first printing; Rick Goldschmidt; Miser Brothers Press-guess who THAT's named after) iks a excellent, though not perfect, book on the studio, and mentions this and their other version.../

I don't like this version of Dorothy. I like all the other characters, but not Dorothy. Dorothy is supposed to be sweet and polite, not bratty and manipulative.
