He'll just pump the brakes as a vehicle pulls out infront of him while he is doing 40 on a street and he only has 200 ft to stop. my guess is that the bike will land on the ground, and hell be about 20-50 ft away from where the bike is. or there will be a massive dent in the car, with him in it

I had a similar situation when riding a GS500E. I was riding down a main road and the surface was a bit slippery as there were a little bit of drizzle, and all a sudden a mk3 Ford Mondeo decided to do a U turn right in front of me, so I had to swerve and I hit the front brake. I missed the bonnet by inches and locked the front wheel and almost came off, but I instinctively put my feet down and saved the bike. I stopped and looked at the driver and he put his hand up to say sorry.

I've have axle and tire damage due to a city worker (male) running his utility truck into my lane and the only thing I could do was slam on my brakes and hit the curb and he didn't have the decency to come back to see if I was ok. Another guy changing lanes in front of me while missing his rear view mirror and the side mirror was hanging by a cable and he didn't even turn his head to see if the lane was clear. After you've just endangered someone's life, the last thing you'd want to do is sit there with your thumb up your ass for no apparent reason. After all, the road was clear and traffic had halted. If I were the motorcyclist in this video, I would've had such a bad adrenaline rush due to this woman's stupidity.

@satinISsexy no i got up, made sure my mate was ok then went over to the asshole of a driver and kicked his door then he tried driving off which is the worst part! removed keys from ignition, phoned police and got the fucker breathalised. agonising pains from my chest and some serious road rash. but i was alright ;) God bless full leathers and proper gear!

Wow, being also biker, thats something i dont like to face. Here in Finland biggest issue are the cars which just come from junction where they have to give space and they just don't seems to see motorcycle and come right to front. Many many times being braking because of those, but not this close like this u-turn video. Lucky you and i hope that you / all riders be safe in the future also! And to all: think if this driver would be speeding, result would be something else.....

It took her approximately 6 seconds to move her damn car after the scooter went past.
After you've just endangered someone's life, the last thing you'd want to do is sit there with your thumb up your ass for no apparent reason. After all, the road was clear and traffic had halted. If I were the motorcyclist in this video, I would've had such a bad adrenaline rush due to this woman's stupidity.
Great stop by the way. A wet road surface always takes you by surprise, despite your speed.
