It most have been really cool to get all those prices I was trying to make a chaos deck but it´s really hard how did you feel then you find out you were 8th?

I saw like 4 banned cards in that deck. You must've played at the good tourneys and not the over-rule based stuck up ones. I only wish I could participate in a tourney. even if I lost in round 1, it'd be fun to see more than just 2 other players at once.

@Comickid15 This was from 2009 with very different banlists, Also, the tournament he played in wasn't just any tourney, it was Nationals, probably the hardest tourney in the U.S. A good tourney wouldn't let you play banned cards and wouldn't let you ignore the rules.

P.S. - Lightsworns were broken that banlist so it wasn't surprising he topped.

@ExclusiveU There is currently no slifer card that can be used in a duel. Obelisk and Ra have been recreated as effect monsters, but slifer has not yet. The obelisk and ra are promo cards from shonen jump.

The only reason that deck is being charged so much is because of all the rares and holo's in it :/. I could kick your ass with the deck I made when I was 12. I started playing in november of last year and he was $100 for a secret rare, now he's $30 for secret. Reprints lower the price and so does the ban list. Necro was expensive before he was limited and so was charge. Now you could buy the whole deck for less than $150 and you would be stupid to buy it for 700 but back then this was how much it cost.

I remember when I used to play yugioh back in the good ol' days, it was before the GX series if I remember, back when cards were simple and powerful like raigeki and harpie's feather duster and there were no forbidden cards. I mean that makes no sense to make a card but not allow it in a tournament.

3) People usally ridge there deck to get cards like dark hole and raigeki in there hands witch is a common strategy for OTKs
