the doctor is actualy a genetic recreation of another alien being called the Other who ruled gallifrey alongside rassilon and omega during gallifreys old time. since this being was not born on gallifrey no one knows where he came from or what his name was it gave me the creeps just reading that from a doctor who facts web site.
@Dynamicfaithfullove no its not a theory in the doctor who novels and especially in the classic doctor who episodes silver nemesis and remembrance of the daleks it is plainly stated the doctor is more than a timelord.
@doctorw2 "Silver Nemesis" is a gigantic mess where the writer had no idea what he was talking about (thinking that the Doctor was literally God), the novels aren't definitely canon, and it's merely hinted at in "Remembrance of the Daleks" that there may be more to the Doctor than meets the eye.
@TotzthePlaid i disagree with that silver nemsis was a great episode cartmel was never suggesting the doctor was GOD but, he was suggesting that the doctor was sort of some otherworldly being.
@doctorw2 1) Really?! You seriously think that mess of nonsense was good?! 2) The guy who wrote the story, Kevin Clarke, literally wrote the story with the idea that the Doctor was God. That's stated straight-up on the DVD's bonus features. It's also a whole load of bunk.
@TotzthePlaid i really love doctor who even the episodes most people dont like i love a lot maybe kevin clark was just kidding as the production staff often do with people becuase cartmels master plan never involved a storyline with the doctor being GOD the plan was to reveal that the doctor was an alien being that came from somewhere else in time.
@doctorw2 No. Clarke honestly thought that the Doctor literally being God was a brilliant idea and wrote the episode with that in mind. John Nathan Turner told him never to tell anyone that was the idea, but JNT's been dead for years and the DVD has the full story of the genesis of that story. And I love most Doctor Who, too, but there are some stories that are just too big of a mess to call good. I still watch that one from time to time, it's just simply not good.
If you could completely eliminate the music from the original track it would be better, because you can still hear it. Nice idea though, the words are cool :)
wow...gave me chills

(appluase) very well done, finally a version with good sound. I love the classic Doctor Whos better, again very well done.

I likes this - gives the original version that extra oomph!

Great idea, because Perwee's vocal is really strong but the original music is weak.

that's sooo good. My favourite two title sequences are the Jon Pertwee ones. The tunnel sequence got really boring from Tom Baker on.

You've definately done a good job there. The mid-point pause is very effective. It makes the actual record endurable at last! Well done! :-)
