@ElTee842 True, but the story is based around the struggle against them, as is usually the case. I mean a story which follows a group of characters who aren't paragons of virtue, such as the Jedi or Starfleet.

@TheSecondEvolution There is a good reason we never saw a mirrorverse episode of Vayager, if you remember in DS9 the Human Terran Empire was defeated and destroyed by Picard and Sisco's time line, there for there would be no Captain Janeway or a ISS Voyager. But this was a great episode which could have shown what an imperial starfleet Captain Janeway would have been like. I really wish Paramount would make a series about the Star Trek Mirrorverse, anyone else want that as well?
@StreetFighterFan86 I would, Also we have seen in Parallels that they are multiple version of the fed so why can't there be one where the TE didn't fall
@Revkor That is a great point, there could be an alternate alternate reality of the TE history. But I was also wrong about this not being able to happen in the normal alternate timeline, I forgot that the Sisko from our timeline helped liberate Humans from the Alliance in the alternate timeline, when he gave the Terran Rebellion a defiant class ship. On that ship was the classes and specs to all of Starfleets current ships including the Intrepid class (Voyager). So this actually could happen.
@StreetFighterFan86 In a version I have in my mind the Rebellion loses Smiley and a dark version of my character leads them into a new Empire and amoung the things he did was pose as the fed me and steal plans for the Galaxy X
@Iluthra I read someplace that TNG ep Parallels was to have an Enterprise-D Mirror counterpart but opted for an Enterprise from a universe where the Borg succeeded in assimilating the Federation.
Oh, I got a little confused when with the whole voyager being destroyed and the doctor being the only survivor. It made it seem like some sort of alternate universe or something.
@Spikezx7 Oh without a doubt. Realistically if humanity (not just Americans) started exploring the galaxy a la Star Trek, we would be more similar to the Terran Empire than the Federation.
@Spikezx7 You're simply wrong. Americans don't have a predisposition towards military conquest, and have always tended towards diplomacy and have peaceful relations with the vast majority of nations on earth. If you honestly believe that Americans act this way you are woefully ignorant of your own country and watch too much television.
@TravisTCleveland I'm afraid it's you who is woefully ignorant of the US government's motives if you truly believe that diplomacy garbage. The US occupied the Dominican Republic in 1965, invaded Cambodia in 1970, Grenada in 1983, Panama in 1989 and Iraq in 2003. Also the US has overthrown a large number of foreign governments which were democratically elected and sometimes replaced with dictators by the US. America is quite simply the bully of the world. You need to stop drinking the cool-aid!
@eugene1 You are a fool. If you really believe that Americans are as warlike as you say, ten why haven't we conquered the world yet? Oh let me guess. Because China and other nations would stand against us? Then why haven't we started WWIII in an ATTEMPT to conquer the world?
@simpsonfan13 I can't believe you're stupid enough to think that starting WWIII would be a smart move in order to achieve world domination. Obviously covert actions under the guise of humanitarian initiatives gets the same results without the risk of nuclear war. Go educate yourself on nations in which the CIA have overthrown governments; Iran (1953), Tibet (1950s), Guatemala (1954), Congo (1960), Iraq (1963), Brazil (1964), Ghana (1966), Chile (1973), Argentina (1976), Angola (1980s), etc etc
@eugene1 Oh yes. Because THAT worked so well. Iran just LOVES the US and is fully under it's control. Moron. MAD would keep a new world war from going full nuclear. I can't believe you're stupid enough to think that WWIII automatically means nuclear holocaust. You conquer country by country and dare the world to challenge you.
@simpsonfan13 Sigh!!! Clearly you don't read too well as I stated that WWIII runs the "RISK" of nuclear war, I DID NOT state that WWIII automatically leads to nuclear war. As for your statement that you conquer country by country, you're simply putting my previous statements into a different format. I'd stated that the US overthrows large numbers of foreign governments and invades others...DUH! That equals conquering country by country daring the world to challenge you.
@eugene1 Apologies for the late response, but I noticed that you did not include the Soviet Union, and the spread of communism, in your analysis of conquering states. Example: the Soviets overthrew states such as Eastern Europe (1945), China (1949), North Korea (1952), Cuba (1959), Vietnam (1975), Cambodia (1976), Nicaragua, El Salvador and Afghanistan (1979). And this is just the short list, but in all cases, the Americans were the only ones overthrowing governments.
In the opening.....I agree with janeway.....that is just me though.....quick efficient and gets things taken care of, and civilians(yes i know i'm one.....) are "tragic" losses.....very sad about the loss of civilians, but war is war and people die in war......military and civilian......On of the fastest way to stop a military is to take the fight out of the soldiers, that means killing many civilians as possible, targeting the most populated cities first......till the military surrenders.....
@HappyPastah I would LOVE to see a show based on the Evil Mirror Universe Federation....but all the fans who see the 'normal' Star Trek universe as some type of 'utopia' would scream holy living hell over it.Just look at how they get up in arms over the DS9 ep Pale Moonlight where Sisko tricked the Romulans into the war.LOL
Bridge to 7 of nine your standing orders assimilate all that stand in our way and add them to our destituteness all who stand in the way of voyager will die or be assimilated resentence is futile
Once I heard Captain Janeway refer to Harry Kim as a Lieutenant I knew I wasn't seeing the real Voyager. Interesting that the evil Janeway has more respect for Kim (by promoting him) than the supposedly good Janeway.
"The best way to bring down a ruler is to make his people suffer." Sounds like most countries in our universe. Yeah, I can see the mirror universe being more and more likely each day that passes. Oh well. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE! \o/
Have you seen the reviewer SFDebris? He always sets up Janeway as a cruel despot and tyrant against her crew and anyone who gets in her way. And to be fair it's kinda justified. This is just wow. I'm waiting for him to review this, it'll probably involve him cacking maddly. Not seen this episode, and from watching this clip, it looks like Harry finally got a promotion!
@DanteCorwyn SFDebris hates everything about the show, so that's no surprise. Sad that for all the "enlightenment" it speaks of, Trek viewers just can't handle a woman captain...
It's actually rather sad if you see how dynamic these versions of the characters were. Even though they were somewhat over the top, compared to the stock characters we got they were real people.
@WiredDragoon Well the problem with voyager was its cast. Tom Paris went from a rebellious, bad boy to vanilla stock character, Belanna had great potential but after starting her relationship with Paris she mellowed out too much, Neelix was just too bubbly a character and was just annoying and Harry Kim started with potential but got lost in the shuffle after seven of nine was introduced. Kes was developing nicely then the actress left and Chacotay was too nice to be a rebel Marquis.
@WiredDragoon Tuvok had interesting potential but i think they did not give him enough episodes to develop. The doctor was probably my favorite character on the show, he developed the most from the unfriendly EMH to a real person. Janeway is a mixed bag; on the one hand, she had leadership qualities and a maternal protectiveness to the crew that was absolutely necessary for the moral of the ship; however, she continued to investigate every freaking bit of space junk they came across.

I just love seeing things like that .. you can have fun with the dark version of the people. its why the mirror universe is so nice the actors.

I am so hot for this Janeway and this show. This is what Voyager should've been about instead of the crap that Berman and Bragga put on.
Spikezx7 10 months ago 17
@Spikezx7 Berman and Braga had little to nothing to do with VOY's faults. It was Jeri Taylor and UPN.
And besides, Warship VOY wouldn't last for all 7 seasons, it's not a sustainable premise.

Damn I miss Voyager, why is TV so dumb and shit these days :(

look at the comments, I thought sluts dont like voyager!

It's actually rather sad if you see how dynamic these versions of the characters were. Even though they were somewhat over the top, compared to the stock characters we got they were real people.
WiredDragoon 10 months ago

Why can't we stay with these people?
trajan74 10 months ago 5
One of my favorite episodes they need to do a alternate timeline of star trek at least a couple of seasons not just a few evil universe episodes

Woah, it's like the writers on Voyager foresaw SFDebris and his interpretations of the Voyager crew.
