This is my favorite verson. I own copy's of all of them Including a 2 disc origional cast recording. I even got to see the show at the Apollo Vic in London in 1995.

This is the original version. There are just so many different tracks for Starlight Express its easy for people to get confused. Or think the version they heard first was the original one.

You got the wrong person!! This is sung by Stephanie Lawrence-she was in the original cast of Starlight Express in 1984. She died a few years ago.

@chriscox19 I think I heard her singing this live. I went to London in Jan 1985 as a college student & saw this play. It was so magical, I bought this soundtrack on tape. RIP, Stephanie.

I've heard song versions from the original cast recoding bearing this label, along with some versions I know are actually new because I've heard the old ones before. Quite confusing, really...

Not sure, was replaced with 'Next Time You Fall in Love' - although is the recent UK tours this song has been put back in, followed by 'Only You' - lyrics are slightly different now though...
