ok, people that play Ragnarok aren't expecting 3D characters. We enjoy our cute mouth-less 2D avatars. Clearly creators ignored their individuality and just went with the rest of the market, making the game all the less amusing. There are a million things this game has that no one is brave enough to make again.

The Original Ragnarok Game is still one the best MMORPGs out there. No offense, WoW, but not all of us are turned on by elves and dwarfs engaging in combat. Likewise, WoW players arent turned on by Demi-Human Characters that can, at most, deal around 100K+ damage with one skill.

RO2? Not even close to the Original. Where's the Storm Gust and the Extremity Fist/Asura Strike? You cant play RO without those 2 skills. Even just Sonic Blow or Double Strafe. LOL

well RO 2 still early.. remember RO when it first came out... it didnt even have a card system yet and it didnt even have the knight job class.

then beta came out and p2p and only 2-1 was out. 2-2 kinda didnt come out till later on.. I think should give Ro 2 a chance. i think its actually great for something not even 100% complete yet.

Attention akera151 and any other player interested in playing this game. There is a server called EuphRO2, and it's pretty awesome. The game works just fine, and all of the important information is in English, so you won't have any trouble if you can't read Korean. Just Google EuphRO2 and it should be right there. It's extremely easy to download and install the game, so no one should have any problems. I hope you guys like it, it's pretty good.And there are no nagging GM since you never see them

i think when i last played on euphoRO2 about 6 months ago a lot of people mentioned the game is actually only 26% complete.. so I heard theres a long ways to go till its fully complete. its not quite like the original but it is in some ways almost similiar to the original.i mean the game is still not finished yet, I remember when RO 1 first came out, there was only Pront&geffen, and only 1-1 jobs and no cards in RO 1 for like almost a year.

i found out that gun slinger is not a new job but it was in the first ro but they removed it because the job made lags in the games and often cause normal computers to hang, they fixed that problem and now they place it back in now

gunslinger was never removed from ragnarok 1, its still there, from the moment it was implemented it has always stayed there, ro2 sucks because they changed everything that made ro1 a great game, thats it, if it had the same game mechanic that ro1 no one would care about the graphics, because it would be awesome anyway, they just made ro2 a shitty mmorpg like wow, lotro, sro, rohan, or all other ton of mmorpgs out there, ragnarok online 1 its unique

a thief or a swordman..

And RO2 is not an EXPANSION of RO1

Everyone knows Ragnarok 2 is a crap. They can change the whole animation but the problem is that they just turned the whole story into idiocacy. Even those Monsters, how could they exist in RO2 if they ain't in ragnarok. Its better these guys made a new game than making craps like this and named it as expansion of a unique game.

I played the alpha on a private server, it was horrible. there is no motion capture so the characters moove weird, they lean left and right when turning like they would be a motorbikes not feet. the graphics look obsolete. the game is map based and the maps are small you have to spend alot of time on loading screens, thats obsolete technology. the fight is extremely lame and the game lagged like hell. im disapointed totaly by the game, only thing i liked was naming your sword/gun (partialy tho).

game was in developement a long time, seems that the sucess of world of warcraft killed the development, now the graphics mooved forward and even wow engine starts to look obsolete. if they would take the universe they developed in ragnarok then remade entirely the combat system to make it more arcade like that would require players to moove dodge aim and atack by themselves without compouter aid. and then use newest graphics so that hte game looks like this prerendered moovie it would be a win
