  • Thanks Winnie. Great music. You're still playing somewhere I'm sure. God bless.

  • I'm trying to get hold of a Winifred Atwell medley which includes 'I'll See You In My Dreams' Pretty sure it was by her-I remember it as a child growing up. Any ideas?

  • @Ra1nemaker It' came out originally on a 45 around 1960 called Piano Party and it's now included on a CD called Winifred Atwell's Party Medleys, there's some really great stuff on it. Hope this helps.

  • she,s great but where is Crosshands Boogie I think it was her first big hit.

  • @Jetsam1934 "Black And White Rag" was her first big hit...the one that bought her to the public's attention. Actually "B & W" was the "B" side to "Cross Hands Boogie"!!!

  • James, Winnifred Atwell was simply the best. My husband swears that his family and hers were kinfolk.. I think that and the fact that I play boogie woogie is probably one of the reasons he married me. lol
