I know alot of people with college degrees, but I know they don't have what it takes to be running for office either. It is up to the individual to prove to me they have what it takes, and this guy just doesn't cut it for me. I respect your opinion but I just don't this guy has what it takes.
people have to realize that government is so screwed up because all we have are politicians running for office and politicians are for business as usual and that businees is call corruption. and alvin greene is no politician but a real person so (NO MORE POLITICIANS PLEASE!) because politics+politicians= business as usual.so( VOTE 4 ALVIN GREENE!)
@MrHead1972 I agree that politicians are corrupt and they are ruining this country with their corruption, and that we need a regular guy to run for the Senate. But can't that regular people be slightly intelligent? I mean look at this guy.
@Mattyb667 just needs more practice in public speaking thats all. and from my i understanding he has some college backround and that doesnt automatically make someone a genius but it does take a certain amount of intelligence to even make it into college.

When listening to him I do not hear an intelligent man, even though he isn't a good spreaker if he was smart he would be able to share ideas, not the same rhetoric of, "move forward not backwards," "Getting back to work". He does not come across as intelligent, and btw he is being charged with a felony he doesnt want to talk about. Sounds like a great person to be put in the senate(sarcasm)
@Mattyb667 well hes already explained his rhetoric when he was asked why he gives the same answer over and over and his response was its because he keeps being asked the same questioned over and over. and as far as his pending case goes anybody who has had a pending court case knows that its not wise to discuss much or anything at all about your case except to the parties that are directly involved. he just needs experience in public speaking. and he could be intmidated by the cameras

And I understand he is being asked the same questions, but he still relies on rhetoric as an answer and nothing else, if rhetoric is all he has an answer for than it just isn't good enough, no matter how many times the same questioned is asked. Also, why was he involuntarily discharged from the military? There are more questions than answers.
@Mattyb667 so if you had charges pending against you you would talk about it to anybody who wants to know. he could have been advised by his lawyer or even a judge not to speak about it. as not to hurt his case or either to protect the name of his accuser. we dont know. and like we both agree these charges are PENDING but it sounds like you already have him guilty. and aswering those question about his case will only cause more questions that distract from what hes trying to accomplish
@Mattyb667 and his military discharge. maybe he puched one of his superiors or something who knows. but at least he is smart enough to know not to talk about them when he doesnt have to. and of course he cant give great rehearsed non answers as politician do hes just straight up about not answering. he hasnt lied. so whats the problem? and to say that hes not intelligent when the man has a college degree is bordering on absurdity.
He's one of my favorite politicians! I would still vote for DeMint though. But if Greene were running against someone I hate like Lindsey Graham I'd vote for Greene!
