Back in the 60's Nigeria had the groundnut pyramids in the north, cocoa and rubber in the south. Each region had peculiar products and services it produced and provided. All that has eroded now.
The more you allow each region or sub-regions to use what resources they have to produce and stand on their feet it will encourage developement unique to that area. This way we can expose which regions lag behind so they can be better helped. Confederacy is the best answer for Nigeria.

The same thing occuured in Singapore and South Korea. During the 60's their economies were devastated by typhoons, cyclons and wars. Yet within 30years they re-built their economies back up. Singapore is one of the richest countries in the world with a thriving manufacturing base. Income per capita is comparable to western worlds. The sad thing is during the 70's Nigeria was just about at equal keel with Singapore. This is not magic. These are real brutal facts Nigeria needs to contend with.

Dubai is now the one-stop shop in the middle east for fashion, tech, tourism, leisure...Cisco, Oracle, SAP and fortune 500 companies have stationed their companies there. Yet we discovered oil just about the sametime Dubai did. Now they are investing heavily in solar panels and alternative energy.
Back in the 60's Nigeria had the groundnut pyramids in the north, cocoa and rubber in the south. Each region had peculiar products and services it produced and provided. All that has eroded now.

Azikwuwe , Ironsi and Ojukwu were in power. Ten out of the forty years, Igbo men were in power but what did they do? They put Igbo in all the Ministries and did not allow other tribes to work. After Azikwuwe came Ironsi and then the war monger father of Igbos. What did they do? Itsekiris are not Igbo, efik are not Igbos, Edo are not Igbos Ishans are not Igbos. Even Urogbo clamed that they are not Igbo. If you want them to join your poisoning tongue and mind, you have fail.

Really disappointed about such commentary about Yorubas when as one, I loved all my bros & Sis regardless which part of Nigeria. The problem with nigeria they belive oppressing a man will keep peace in the land hahahahah fools in england prime minister apologise to victims of there people taken to austraria 80yrs ago cus of some problem at the time in london govt called them back from austriaria and say that they are so sorry abaout how they treated his own people by shipping them to no mans land even some of the victims were very young at the time now they are in thier late 80s and 90s they accept it and move on.
