They guy showed the card at an angle so the lady in the cafe could find a sticker card and put it on the window. He chucks the pack anywhere and the card is still in the pack. It is impossible to put a card the other side of the glass. The trick is simple. He makes the men focus on him by asking them to put it back in the pack so she has time to stick it on the window. This is just a basic force, with the card pasted earlier. He also does a variation on this trick where a girl chooses a random card and writes her name on it and then when Blaine throws the cards, it appears inside a bottle of beer behind the girl. For that variation, he definitely uses an accomplice, and he uses sleight of hand to pass the card to the assistant behind him, who goes round to put the card in the bottle while Blaine uses mis-direction to stop her from realising. Very clever.

I could be wrong, but I'll try to figure this one out. It's a pre-ordered deck. Notice how he says "mix it up into the deck" and he moves the hand 8 times with the right hand, as he looks at his left (perhaps to indicate type of card to the other person inside the restaurant). It could be a deck with only 6 and 8s, for example, or something like it, so the message can be easily transmitted. Then you give time to the other person to find the right card and paste it on the window, and voilà.

@RudeSnipe Nah, wouldn't have been just 6s and 8s. After he threw the deck it would've been too obvious to anyone who glanced down at the ground. I agree the lady was in on it, just not sure how they selected the card.
