almost forgot, I also wanted to comment on what you said about Hilary Clinton. I think it's a thing in society that a lot of us women have to deal with when we have a lot of opinions and ideas about the world. Stereotypes and such. And, not only being labeled a bitch, but women can also be looked down upon for being independent and strong thinkers. Some women may not easily be out thought and some men in society might find it hard to deal with that in women.
I think you make a good point about how sometimes people will say stupid things because they have nothing else to say. It's like people feel they have to justify their opinions for themselves, regardless of whether their opinion happens to be the right one.
I don't say Hillary is a bich. Her having a lot of power is not the issue. The issue is her policies and her behavior. She's a sore loser.
I generally automatically rebel against ppl telling me what to do, women or men taking positions of authority. I prefer to have a nice talk and trade ideas. With cops, I view them as self-right morally independent but within the law corrupted arm of whoever runs the system.
the stereotypes and hypocrisy is everywhere. Search for PASTOR BILLY on youtube, he studies the BIBLE. bringing up an example of one Christian girl who believes in God but has no clue how to express herself to your brother proves nothing. there is plenty of ignorants out there whether they believe in God, trees or nothing.
As far as women in power there is nothing wrong with that but in this one particular case you brought up you're simply trying to sugar coat pile of shit.btstv makes the point
Unfortunately, "bitch" is a feminine term, Decky. Hilary is a bitch not because she has an opinion, but that she comes across not unlike GW Bush but from the opposite direction. Smug, opinionated, arrogant, insincere, and unwilling to listen to those closest to her. She treats the presidential election as like a debate-championship in high school, or cheap court case. I don't feel she has a drop of sincerity. I think she's just as bad as Bush was, but from the "other direction".Cheers!
What we see is when people act out of stereotype, public perception turns negative. When a woman is assertive, she's perceived as a bitch. When a man is nurturing, he's seen as a wuss. It works both ways but there IS a cognitive/evolutionary basis for this type of social behavior. Effeminate males tend to be less fertile (less testosterone) for example.
But with respect to ideas and non-sex issues (political philosophy, ethnicity etc...), I find stereotypes simply ridiculous like everyone else.
Is someone whistling at 1.00 on the clock? I kept pausing the video to figure out if the noise was here or with you lol. Going crazzzzzzzzy. I don't mean to take anything away from what you've said. I think you've got some really great points and I have been struggling to find my own path in life for the last few years which includes learning new things and doing what I want rather than what is imposed on me.
i just linked my video... sorry it wouldn't let me load it all day so i gave it one last try and left to go out and when i got home it had loaded but not as a response video.... anyway, how's life?

Life is life. I'm just gearing up for a summer of selling tat like paintings, jewellry and stuff to the silly tourists on the beach. I may be going to Peru with me great uncle if I have a good season and the tourists give me loadsa money. Exciting, huh?
I agree that women shouldn't always be labeled as a bitch because she voices her opinion. I don't agree that ALL men who do so are seen as leaders or heroes though. I think SOMETIMES a women can be a bitch about it and a man can be a dick/asshole/douche about it. Not you of course. =)
Off topic....Whoa... your room would make an awesome green screen!
Not believing in God is weird? 22% of the world are Buddhists. That's nearly in the ballpark with Christianity worldwide. Maybe people have forgotten that America is not the world.
You dont have to follow a certain religion to beleive in "God". I dont think god is a person or supernatural being, its just a
force that keeps things moving fluently.
As I said before we are energy, and energy never dies, it just transfers into something else. I've done quite a bit of mushrooms and
LSD over the past few years and that changed my "Spiritual" perception a great deal. This world is a joke there has to be something else out there. Maybe you should try some psychedelics..
Burning up brain cells may change your outlook on religion, but it doesn't really make it more real and palpable.... but that's my opinion. I've known too many people have completely fucked up their heads on shrooms, LSD, and other psychedelics.
Well if you've never done it personally, I dont think you know what your talking about.
"Frying brain cells?" You sound like a government propagandist. If your responsible with psychedelics, and not a retard doing it all the time, they are quite a life changer.
But they are not for everyone. 80% of the population is to brainwashed and/or retarded to even gain any insight off of psychedelics.
Your paranoia about the government is a known side effect of taking some of the drugs I'm sure you're defending. Are you on something as you write this?
I've seen first-hand the side-effects of the drugs I've mentioned. Anyone with two eyes and a brain can see how fucked up someone gets on it if they've been around it.
I don't know. I could ask you if you've inhaled aerosol propellants and poo-pooed you about not trying it... or drank jet fuel... but then there's something to conventional wisdom and paying attention to the warning symbols on the can.
What warning symbols? You mean the same old tired bullshit propaganda with no basis in fact? BTW Aerosol propelant abuse isn't a natural part of a healthy society but the ritual use of psychedelic drugs are. Aerosol propelent isn't produced naturally in the brain, but tryptamines are. You have a class 1 controlled substance in your pineal gland. I'm not poo-pooing you, just questioning your authority to condemn the psychedelic experience, as you appear to be pretty ignorant of it.
You use the word psychedelic like it really means anything. All it is is disrupting the normal function of your brain and causing a discharge of europhia producing brain chemicals. There are some chemicals like THC which don't bind in a harmful way (addictive), but it does tend to block neural transmitter chemicals from moving about. Any brain pattern that sustains itself long enough is going to produce a conditioned response. That's how you get dry drunks and burnouts.
'Psychedelic' is just an inadequate label for tryptamines and some phenethlyamines that have been used by human beings for 10,000s of years. The demonisation of these substances is a very recent phenomina. Again, I question whether you have a clue as to what you are talking about as you bring up an example of the possible effects of alchohol addiction in order to condemn psychedelics. The two are in no way related. I also doubt that you are a neuro-scientist.
For someone who claims to be intelligent, using an argument like "I also doubt that you are a neuro-scientist" is an ad-hominem argument. I'm autodidact and don't worry about labels like that.
As for the demonization -- you're patently wrong. The "war on drugs" during the Reagan era started the ball rolling. Alcohol being a drug was taught in health class more than 20 years ago. Your use of chemical names loosely with a weak argument using a fallacy shows you're lacking where it counts.
This argument started because you claim that substances such as LSD and psilocybin (they fall under the chemical class tryptamine, look it up), widely known as 'psychedelics' 'burn up' brain cells without offering any proof of this fact, because you know as well as I that no proof exists. You compare them to aerosol propelant and alcohol abuse, which is plain stupid.
You make pseudo-scientific statements about the supposed long-term effects on brain chemistry, despite the obvious fact you have no real knowledge in that area. You are clearly pulling your 'facts' out of your arse. I just called your bullshit because it is the same ignorant crap that is unquestioningly perpetuated by people like yourself that creates a dangerous and immature culture surrounding drug use. Now go and obfuscate away till your heart's content... ad-hom, fallacy, yada yada...
I didn't make any wild claims, BrightHelm. You are the one contradicting established thought. Either you're smarter than everyone else, or you're reaching. I vote for the latter. You can't call my observations "pseudoscience" since science starts with it. What sort of science are you familiar with exactly? You can yell "bullshit" all you want. Your views are hardly anything more than filler for "High Times" magazine.
Sorry, were you trying to make some sort of coherent argument somewhere here? I think sleepless4201 has made the best counter argument to your uninformed bleatings so far (see below).
What is it I'm supposed to have forgotten? I'm guessing that you mean to say that people don't get fucked up on drugs and that paranoia isn't a side-effect of drug use?
Do you even have any sources to cite for your "wild" claims to the contrary? I'd love to see them. To be honest, your position seems to be rooted in marijuana propaganda that is spread by Libertarians who feel that no drug should be illegal. With such a bias, it's really fruitless for me to spend time arguing with you.
And it is fruitless to argue with someone as disingenuous as yourself. I never claimed that drugs cannot cause paranioa or other bad effects, YOU were the one who made the claime that LSD and mushrooms 'burn up' braincells, a hackneyed 'war on drugs' scare tactic that has NO BASIS IN FACT. All I done was point out that you are talking out of your arse. For the record, no, I don't believe you have any right to tell other people what they can and cannot do with their own bodies.
I have lost friends to herion and methodone abuse, but it is your prissy, sweep it under the carpet prohibitionist attitute that keeps this issue from being honestly dealt with in the open and creates a dangerous culture around drug use. So fuck you, if you want to broach such an important subject deal in facts or shut the fuck up.
I've been around methadone users at a party...and had to get an earful from my friend who had it slipped into her drink...I've known heroin users. I don't see why anyone would not want to prohibit these things -- do you seriously find any useful purpose to drugs? Toying with brain and body chemicals willy nilly without a doctor taking care of issues seems foolish to me. Even taking something as "harmless" as anabolic hormones can cause liver damage if you haven't had a proper liver test.
Prohibition debate aside, I never claimed that drugs cannot cause bad effects, only your 'with us or against us' Bush-logic allows you to come to that conclusion. For the THIRD and FINAL time, I called your 'LSD burns braincells' bullshit for what it is - bullshit 'war on drugs' propaganda with NO BASIS IN FACT. You fail at autodictat - go back to school.
Now who's sounding prissy? If I didn't know better, I'd say you were projecting your defiance against your parents towards me. According to "Shroomery", a "magic mushroom" apologists website, long term effect is PTSD. Short term effect: "Loss of reality may be experienced and severe anxiety and paranoia can occur"... I suppose you disagree? I suppose I'm just full of shit and don't know anything, hmm?
Your statements are patently false at face value. I'm educated, make a decent living, and the people I talked about are very real. As for them being immature, I think some were pretty immature.
