@WQRandon It isn't a mall. It is a multi-level department store similar to Macy's in NYC. The store is Wanamaker's and it houses the worlds largest fully playable pipe organ, which you do see in the clip above. Ironically the store switched many hands over the years and is currently run by Macy's. I always like this movie as it was cute and fun. I was always a fan of Kim Cattrall and Andrew McCarthy.

I love this movie, one of the most underrated 80's films. My parents used to take me to the old Wanamakers store in downtown Philly where this was filmed. It changed names several times since but still looks the same inside.

It's the 80s, what can I say. 80s were so good for these type of scenes where an upbeat song plays and you see people in a montage of events (Better Off Dead, Real Genius, Ntl Lampoons Euro. Vacation, Night Shift) I know someone whose parents met for their first date there, at the old Wannamaker's building, by the eagle back in the 70s. Such a beautiful dept. store. Kim Cattrall can't act for shit but in this movie it is forgivable since she is... well.. a dummy. Love Hollywood!
