i have titanium back up, rom manger and my phone is rooted but i dont see the gingerbread software anywhere after I restart my htc inspire. where would I download the gingerbread software?

if u want to root ur phone from the phone itself go on phone 4shared on your phone type in the search gingerbreak.apk and download it and it will ask to root i dont think alot of people know about it but im not a ad for my app ITS NOT MINE!

If your smart enough, you can basically do any of these on your own. I am under 18 and i did. it was pretty fun, with all the tension that it might get bricked. BACK UP ALL FILES!

After I wiped all user data, I could no longer select anything, I could scroll up and down, make the words appear and disappear, but I couldn't select anything, I ended up powering off/hitting a volume button, I felt a vibrate, and now my phones light is blinking and I cant get it to turn on, feels like ipods dfu mode.. Any idea as to get it back on? :\

@xXKiTheifXx just boot into hboot by powering off and turn back on while holding volume down and the pwr button at the same time then select recovery and your back

After I followed the step by step guide on XDA to install this ROM, I can no longer use my phone as a phone. Won't connect to AT&T. So far, Google has been useless on finding a result.

I noticed that after rooting my inspire, the indicator/notification light no longer blinking during standby/idle mode, it does blink when there's missed calls, emails, or sms. I looked carefully at your phone and it doesn't seem to blink too. Is that normal?

@siege86 I think so, and now the update has been leaked and I think you dont neeed to root your phone, you just plug it in and do the update.........they say its so stable it might be the final one.

ENG-off isn't necessary to flash a new ROM. Only a new radio which is pretty damn dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. You might want to alter the video so you don't have people bricking their phones.
