Unfortunately, there's a massive gap between organised religion and God. People use the Bible to back up their personal dislikes.

Homosexuality is considered a sin, yes, but so is stealing and sex before marriage. They are all equally as bad (but are treated very differently).

The whole idea of there being people 'closer to God' than others, I agree, is baffling. That the pope has the right to tell people what to do and should be worshipped....

Spread the word, yes. Abuse the word, NO!

There is nothing wrong with sex as long as you married according to the bible.
