Steve has`nt changed that much, as I saw him in Brighton in Oct. and he was amazing! Then with Steve you would not expect less, and he never disapoints, Thankyou Steve xx
Had this record..long time ago. They had a version of First cut is the deepest,.sorry Rod and others but that version was brilliant! Anyone able to post?????
Hello Brent doh! bit obvious its a psydonym but wondered who would use a name like that "lol" :-) What you up to now ?? thought you knew I played with Steve?
I would agree but it is a lot more economical to have a good keyboard player than to take an uneconomical Big Brass section!! But Hey thanks for the Good comment as its a Great song with a Great Singer !!
WOW! AT LAST! A Day Without Love was a big hit in Mexico City thanks to a radio show called "Estudiantes 1260". This is one of my all-time favorite songs since then. I used to play it in my guitar in the early 80's. I did my own version of it several years ago, with lyrics in spanish language!. To watch this video is somehow a dream come true. Thank you very much Mel, for sharing this gem!
Your very welcome my Friend I have a load more Gigs that we did on VHS that I will transfer to DVD & put up here for you all to enjoy All The Best Mel amps-n-bits com

Love this song.
Great keyboard player - the keyboards on here, IMO, sound a little too synthy for this, but this guy makes 'em sing.
Would be great to see and hear some further live stuff from Steve Ellis's Love Affair on Youtube. (That's a hint Mel. lol)
